i so so love this phone.. it has the bigest sensor camera of all camera phone with mechanical shutter nd filter and xenon flash...so epic.. greatest camera phone i ever had before....if you love photography you'll this phone :)
After using a N8 and iphone4, i got the n8. It really depends on what is best for you, and what you are going to use your phone for. Considering the games, iphone has better arcade games, but nokia n8 has better serious games, like assassins creed.
Also, N8 is alot more free to use than an iphone4, for example no need for itunes and you can enter its hard drive and do whatever you want. It can support flash and it has a 12mp camera.
Iphone and n8 are just different, you cant compare them well

I already use my N8 since Oct 2010 and didn't have any issue about lag, running out power, pics n video and most important i still can make a phone call inside elevator. what I realized, the performance will increased when you switched on it continuously. I let the asphalt game running and can spent 46 hours with online widget. If you been thinking the device for joy and fun you will never gonna like n8. But if you the kind of person who stick on real, useful, serious real life. N8 has the one.

Why does asphalt 5 look better on the N8 and not the Vibrant. There is no reflection on the cars on the Vibrant, or is it just because of the Android platform? Because the Galaxy series have one of thee best graphics processor...
Doesn't matter what many of them are saying but N8 has done quite good with games, specially considering the other games are still active in the background. Taking video and playing game of course not easy single handed but you done a good job with the demonstration under the situation. Idelafr, next time plese try to use a static camera so you dont make the gameplay of the games look bad. You can't play with one hand, you have to use them both.

Whoever exited the game that way did a great job. Seeing prior videos, I had concerns on what would happen if you hit the menu key. Now the game/app closes if it runs low on memory. Shows some good OS coding. :) And it's quick, like Galaxy S quick!! Awesome, will buy this beast when its out!

I think the N8 is smart enough to not allow two heavy games to be run. It quit Asphalt automatically when the Avatar game was loaded. I'm copping this phone from Nokia if they don't release it soon. :P

Whoever exited the game that way did a great job. Seeing prior videos, I had concerns on what would happen if you hit the menu key. Now the game/app closes if it runs low on memory. Shows some good OS coding. :) And it's quick, like Galaxy S quick!! Awesome, will buy this beast when its out!

@knowledgefox2 Some probably are . . . But most of them are made wie Nokia Game SDK. I don't know it this is QT based - as I haven't found it on the Nokia Dev Sites.

@StargateWorx3D Damn I really despise those stupid testers that assume that they can leave apps running in background. Just because they're closed and RAM is made available on phones running Android an iOS that doesn't apply for Symbian Phones!!!
No wonder everybody keeps complaining that the N8 is laggy -.-

@TheTuis Yeah and thats not the only guy handling it like that... I've seen this in nearly any Test around the web . . . I mean, it's like just pressing WIN+D on Windows and start a new programm soon wondering why everything gets slower and slower :D Geez stupid ones . . . This is why some nonknowing plp start complaining about more RAM and CPU.
Sure the masses are spoiled by simplicity and so on -.-

I think the N8 is smart enough to not allow two heavy games to be run. It quit Asphalt automatically when the Avatar game was loaded. I'm copping this phone from Nokia if they don't release it soon. :P

Don't blame them for that.They don't know that ,the app it's still running in the background and they don't care,which is right for me,it's logic,close and natural to mind. Actually,they pressing the only one button,analogy with iPhone only one button who is the Close function button
