  • You can see it got knocked loose before his second foot hit the floor #SmhEvans&Cundiff

  • always a sketchy win when the pats do it

  • The officials said they got a call from the booth saying it wasnt a catch or some shit. Like it was reviewed quickly and they called it incomplete. It looked really close to me but I guess it wasn't a catch. He should have caught that ball with a bit more ferocity rather than letting it look like warmup tosses.

  • It should of been

Ravens vs 49ers Super bowl :(

  • not a catch. Sorry, ravens fans.

  • Comment removed

  • 2nd and 1, 3rd and 1, should have both gone to Ricky Williams behind Leach!

  • SEARCH THIS ON GOOGLE:

    Sports Science: Moore Slap-Away

TO ALL PEOPLE ARGUING THIS WAS A CATCH which it wasn't GO LOOK THE WORDS ABOVE ON GOOGLE AND SEE THE PROVE OF WHY THIS ISN'T A CATCH AND WAS NO NEED OF REVIEW

NOW THAT YOU GUYS KNOW IT WAS INCOMPLETE GET OVER IT!!!!

    ITS JUST A GAME!!!!!

  • @SalsaConQueso2 I agree it wasn't a catch, but that sports science thing is just annoying. They spend 90% of the video analyzing the shit out of Moore's slap- not whether Evans had his foot down before the ball was out. And then on the best replay angle, they slow it down..then speed it up right at the most important part. GAY.

  • at 0:22 both feet were on the ground, and the ball was not knocked down after he caught it

  • @med5480 at 0:22 both feet ARE on the ground.. and the ball is all the way out. When Simms says "what a throw by Flacco", right when he says "Flacc", Brown has swatted the ball and it starts to come out right when his left toe is barely touching the turf.

Now, if you know anything about the rule, you'd know that you have to possess the ball all the way through the catch. Evans did not. No catch.

  • It was a touchdown. He had possession. He broke the plane because he was in the endzone.

  • @Fairfaxcat Sir, Calvin Johnson would like to speak to you on line 5.

  • @csmulholland and all Ravens fan that understand the rules and difference between rushing a TD and catching a TD. I take my hat off to you for showing sportsmanship and class.

  • not even close to being a catch.. great game though

  • Yeah Patriots haters, stop bitching. That clearly wasnt even close to a catch nevermind having enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. He didnt even get 2 feet down before getting the ball knocked loose, and thats assuming its possesion as soon as it hits his hands.

  • Ray lewis should retire already. Arian Foster from the Texans destroy the Ravens Defense!!

  • haha ravens lost!! thank god they lost. GO PATS!!

  • Ravens fans you should know this rule well. Remember the Bengals game this year? Yes the Ravens were on the favorable end of this rule not once, but twice this season, both times against the Bengals. It sure does hurt when the call does not go your way.

  • B.S. Then there should be a rule that any runner has to possess the ball all the way to the ground. Refs r making up the rules as they go.

  • @baldbadboyz That is a rule. It's called a fumble when you drop it as a runner. Learn football before you get butthurt.

  • its simple, you have to follow through with possession of the football. clearly it was knocked out, even before he gets the 2nd foot down.. this isnt one of those plays were a freeze frame can prove anything. incomplete pass.. stop with the bullshit...

  • That wasn't a drop. He should have held the ball more tightly, but it wasn't a drop. Can't really fault the receiver too much, just good defending.

  • How did the Ravens got Robbed?

  • How did the Ravens got ROBBED?

  • @kb24girlie They didn't they had their shots and blew the game. They should have one in theory, but didn't get it done.

  • Can someone tell me how did the Ravens got ROBBED? Cuz I'll have a sure answer that they didn't.

  • if the ref had actually reviewed it, it honestly would have been pretty easy to come up with a clear cut decision: 1. the ref watches the HD replay in super slow mo to figure out the exact moment where any part of evans cleat, including the spikes, comes into contact with the turf, 2. he looks to see if evans has been dispossessed at that moment. if he wasnt, its a touchdown, and i would say theres a pretty good chance that he wasnt.

  • He had 2 feet down, TOUCHDOWN!

  • When I saw the review initially I thought for sure this was a TD. Looking at it here again I think it might not be. Still no excuse for not reviewing it.

  • I would have flipped and broke my TV if this was reviewed and overturned.

This should not ever be overturned before the Calvin Johnson denied touchdown last season.

  • Why are people complaining about this play? The game wasn't even over at this point. The Ravens probably would have tied it if John Harbaugh didn't shit the bed by rushing Cundiff out there without calling a timeout.

  • @mts1583 because it still would have won the game dipshit, thats why.

  • After the Calvin Johnson rule why is this even being questioned. If the CJ catch was not a catch then there is no way in hell this is a catch.

  • @vasicour It should be called the Louis Murphy rule since it happened to him first earlier in the same year.

  • This is the most heart-breaking thing if you are a Ravens fan.

  • If one of Brady's receivers does this , its a touchdown. Both feet were down before the ball was pulled out. Exact same play a week ago by one of pats tight ends when pats beat broncos. Ruled touchdown .

  • You don't become one of the great dynasties in football without a little luck. First the tuck rule, this botched catch, then missing the easy 33 yard FG. Oh well, that's football!

  • Why are people complaining about the non-review of a call that clearly wouldn't have been overturned? He didn't even get 2 feet down...

  • @5757jl Right. This was extremely close and he might actually have had two feet down. You're arrogant.

  • @5757jl

you are correct !!!!!! lee evans just should have caught that pass.....period. he's paid too much money to even drop one pass. and even though i know its unreasonable, if i dropped a burger at mcdonalds i would be fired, and thats minimum wage.

  • if im not mistaken, i thought all TDs, especially passing TDs were reviewed by the booth? so why did the rule not go into effect here?...

  • For that play not to even be reviewed which was under 30 seconds is a crime and a shame.

  • Anyone who thinks that's a touchdown is a ravens fan or hates the patriots. His second foot isn't even down before the ball comes out. It should have been reviewed but it wouldn't have changed anything.

  • @chemsigfigs I'm a Ravens fan and I thought he didn't get his second foot down in time..but I do think it's fishy that they didn't even review it.

  • @chizrocker88 It's the Patriots. The NFL will always give them the breaks - and it is intentional and corrupt.

  • We were robbed man...I'm sick of the little bitch tom Brady always getting his way

  • It never ceases to amaze me how professional receivers can consistently be so bad at receiving

  • The straw that broke the camel's back

  • Yeah yeah he didn't have possesion of the ball all the way... bullshit! This is the freaking Mike Pereira rule that has been screwing team after team during the last two years. BULLSHIT!

  • lee evans should be shot for that!!!! that was the game winner for sure

  • They had JULIAN EDELMAN on anquan boldin, cam cameron should have exposed him this drive for the touchdown

  • this should have been reviewed, i mean such a close play with a trip to the super bowl on the line with 20 some seconds left to play and the booth didn't feel it warranted review?disgusting

  • @fleshrot52 there is nothing to review dumbass.

  • @fleshrot52 its disgusting that people dont give Sterling Moore the credit he deserves and instead choose to berate the officials who made the correct no call. If Harbaugh thought there was any chance it was a completion he would've thrown a flag. Get over it.

  • @DaTroof93 it's disgusting that that people don't know that harbaugh can't throw a challenge flag when the play clock is under 2 minutes, and i never said that moore didn't make a good play, and i've never said it was a catch, just that i felt it was a close enough play with enough at stake that you would think they would have taken the few minutes to review it and make certain they got it right

  • @fleshrot52 no need. he didnt catch it. you lose.

  • it was 'Lee Evans' Fault more than 'Billy Cundiffs'. His Kick only would have Tied the Score, Evans would have Won the Game...

  • Great defensive play, Evans should've held on to it a lot better, squeeze the air out of that ball. I was going for ravens very disappointing.. should it have been reviewed?? Obviously.

  • He wasn't robbed he didn't have possession of the ball and his foot was still in the air then Sterling hit it out get over it it's just a game

  • so close i dont but there was no way the reff on feild can call that

  • i believe he was robbed as well. it looks like the 2nd foot comes down before the ball comes out.

  • @smokeshit100 It looks that way in real time, but if you watch it in super-slow-motion like they were showing it in the replays on TV you can see that the ball started coming loose just barely before the second foot hits the ground. It's one of the closest calls that I have ever seen in such an important situation, but the refs definitely got it right!

  • He was robbed!
