Cameo Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz The A-Team (2010) HD

If the A-team should ever come back it should be the next generation. Have new characters lead by one of the original team members. The way I would write is have B.A. Baracas leading 3 young guys out on new jobs, new adventures new everything and have Face and Murdock return occasionally.

I dont think the guys in the new A-Team movie even came close to the original cast in terms of suitability for the roles. Rampage Jackson is nowhere near as tough as Mr-T still is. Liam Neeson wasnt smug and confident enough to be Hannibal. Bradley Cooper as Face was too interested in only one woman, thats NOT the Faceman character. Copley was not bad as Murdock, a different kind of Murdock though.

@TheDN3A416 actually face was pretty spot on, he did flirt with other women and used his charm, but he didn't have that accent, all of their roles were too serious imo, it didn't feel like watching the A-Team, just another hollywood action movie

They left out all the old details they could have used, I guess that's why Mr T did not want a cameo, since it was nothing close to it.

Murdock played well but he didn't act like a real nut, he was more of a redneck than a crazy person to me

The movie is nice and I am glad that they both did this cameo its great to see them working together again. The fact that they agreed to do this small part in the movie says that they are great supportive and not stuck up, good for them.

the movie is nice, it's 21th century action movie. It has some caracter recalling the tv series, but it's not too much similar.

the tv series is the original, uncoverable.

when I've seen the movie at the cinema I didn't realized about the cameo, or i forgot it.. or the scene was cutted?

The A-Team movie was pretty good - great action and pace. More or less good acting, particularly from Face and Murdock. The originals are great - I grew up with them - and I miss George Peppard, he was so cool and lovable. But the next generation A-Team ain't too bad too, just gotta give them space and time to grow.

@videozfann I would have liked it also if they had cameos from Melinda Culea (Amy) and the actress who played Tawnia. Perhaps they could have been in this scene too with Dirk and Dwight. Also, the movie featured Gerald McRaney who had his own hit show in the 1980s, Simon & Simon.

I recently got a video of a film with him and Jameson Parker in it called Jackals where Gerald plays a really nasty bad guy, a crooked cop involved in persecuting illegal immigrants, and Parker is his colleague who along with an ex-cop does battle with him after he finds out what he does on the side. There's a great trailer for this which has lots of action in it.

Dwight Schultz is criminally underrated as an actor. His character of Lt. Barkley & Oppenheimer were brilliant. He NEEDS to be in more films or TV.

Dirk Benedict was a star because of his personality just as most of the stars of the 50s 60s 70s and 80s. Something changed in the 90s and its just gotten worse.

Will never be the same. Just like with music.

What made both great are still very present but very looked over.

I love that they've brought together both versions of the A Team, tying it in and passing it over to the new generation (with respects to George Peppard, who will be greatly missed). Both adaptions of the characters are a different take , and as a fan of both the original show (discovering it through re-runs and hunted down box sets) and the movie, I think both new/old Face and new/old Murdock are great. Although Murdock will always be the best character for me, whether Dwight or Sharlto's. :-)

@JantoFan I was a fan of the original A-Team back when it was on TV but in the years since I have not seen them OR do I even remember any episodes ==> ALL I remember is the 4 characters, the van, the toys I had of them and of course the main theme ! I may one day re-visit the series but that day will be highly sentimental cos itwill bring back memories of watching it on TV, despite the fact I don't remember ANY episode ! !

The movie last year was ACE ! !
