  • I think the stuka wuz the most versatile german aircraft it wuz a fighter and a bomber, this thing changed the course of many battles nazi related or not it wuz and always will be an amazing aircraft!

  • stukas are just pure awesome. they were exellent ground attack aircraft hans ulrich rudel the adept stuka pilot sank a russian battleship marat with a single powerful 1000IBS bomb. he also slaughtered 12 russian tank in his first day of tank busting at the eastern front using his two 37MM cannons. if i were in those days i'd request to be a stuka pilot despite its huge weakness to fighters and ground fire. rudel survived many times when he was shot down by fighters or anti-aircraft artillery

  • @swanningaround my grand father flew a stuka on the russian front durring ww2 his name is Hans Wohlbier he is on the internet look him up he flew 405 combat missions during ww2 and he is still alive he is perfect exampal of a germany soldier that was not a nazi bastard

  • @bobparker95 do you actually know what the term Nazi stands for? your grandfather fought for a national socialist regime and was a obviously a proud German that makes neither him or others that did the same a bastard.!!!

  • @JustaScotsman House check covered nazi scumbags

  • @bobparker95 I'm sure that 99.8 % of german soldiers were not bastards. Sadly, most of americans, british etc. think that all of them were some kind of grazy nazis...

  • @DeathRow200 they are a bunch of haters that dont want to call german soldiers good. those germans were defending their homelands. they had families and wifes and homes. but the dirty amerikan/british bastards cant stop from blaming every bad shit on them.

  • @dividednation44 You are soo right!

  • @dividednation44 arsehole the krauts started the war murdered 6 million jews, millions of soviet civilians

  • @bobparker95 All the respect for the military men that did their duty.

  • Dad fought in North Africa in WW2 and was bombed by these, he said they were terrifying things. They would be ideal in Afghanistan against the Taliban

  • Dad fought in WW2 in North Africa and was bombed by these! He said they were terrifyinf things. They would be ideal in Afghanistan no against the Taliban

  • The Stuka was an early representation of Psychological warfare, Scare the crap out of the enemy and their people.

  • What an ugly machine...I love it!

  • The tank blowing up on this video is not a Russian tank T-34. It is an American tank M-60.

  • NO SOUND!!!!!!!!!

  • I can agree... as a young boy this was THE plane to build as a model plane kit.

Mine took the most time of all models I had built to get it perfect... then it was sat on and lost 6 weeks after completion.

Such is the life of a Stuka. I love the Tank Cracker version with twin 30 mm cannon!

    : 0

  • As far as the machine goes...I don't know the pros and cons of such but seeing the Stuka even as a model when I was a kid...it was like a wolf with wings. Just a a monster. i remember the look of what encased the wheels and the lengthy fuselage cock pit windows..A monster...

  • My favourite plane

  • My father fought in WW2. He thought the mopst terrifying experience was being attacked by Stukas. The English scoff at this plane, as is shown in the Battle of Britain film. My father was shot at by a whole company of German troops and also had to face 60 panzers in an all out attack. In that attack his batallion was wiped out. He still said that the Stuka attacks were more terrifying. He said that they came down, and each had a bomb just for you. The English will never understand this.

  • @swanningaround Wow! A story of what it was like to expierence a Stuka attack. From what I have read and seen about the Stuka, it was all about terrifying the enemy. Indeed, it must have been very nerveracking to hear the JU-87's siren as it made it's bombing dive. I have been lucky enough to have never expierenced what it's like to be in a war. Your father is a very great man to have fought for his country in one of the most darkest and violent peroids in history.

  • @swanningaround germany never would have invaded USA First germany had the worse surface navy in WW2 the kriegmarine was crap lost almost every battle not capable of putting 1 aircraft carrier into service. USN carriers, battleships, cruisers would have sank the entire shit kriegmarine just as it left port in germany

  • @jers59 True. I agree that the United States is the greatest pwer on earth and will remain so forever. Anyone who doubts that will be destroyed.

  • @swanningaround Leave it to someone to step up and say something embarrassing. Obviously Mrs. swanny is an astute judge of everything. Keep up the good work. How old are you anyway? Sixteen?

  • @woobification As gers says, everyone knows that the US had the top navy and still has. Americans are natural sailors and complete fighting units. The Germans have one of the worst fighting records in history. The English won against them, as they were so bad, and England had the backing of the US and Scotland.

  • @jers59 Assuming the Uboats allowed the USN anywhere near europa :)

If the germans were an island or in the US's position they would have focused more on navy.

  • @jers59 Incorrect, for its time the Kreigs was a rather potent force if it wasn't swamped down by superior allied numbers. Example Bismarck, Tirpitz and Scharnhorst. If Hitler put more effort into the Kriegsmarine then 2 aircraft carriers would of been built by '40. The Kreigs would of walked all over the USA if it could, if it got to the stage where america was able to be invaded then the Japs would of been able to aswell, the IJN with the Yamato class would of destroyed the US Navy hands down

  • @TheRottenWelshman LOL The US navy in 1940-41 would have wiped the kriegmarine from the sea by 1941 USN had carriers for 20 years including the 2 largest carriers Lexington and Saratoga they had 3 Yorktown class carriers including WW2 greatest warship USS Enterprise

  • @TheRottenWelshman US North Carolina class BB was better BB then bismarck better armorm more powerful main battery better secondary guns and AA protection , damage control and crew, Iowa class BB were greatest battleships ever built 2 generations ahead of WW1 baden design bismarck and tirpitz , kriegsmarine had no amphibious navy and worse destroyers of WW2 and lousy cruisers. US built over 140 carriers in WW2 including 24 Essex class WW2 best class of warships

  • @jers59 I said IF the US was in such a state where it could be invaded then the IJN and Kriegs (mostly U-Boats) would have had a strangle hold on the US, large ships cant do much when they're either boxed in at port or unable to resupply, and with such planes like the BV 222 (if put into mass production) then the Fallschirmjäger would of been capable of capturing ports and air bases making your large ships useless. But, the crucial word is IF. Not having a dig at you, just my opinion.

  • @TheRottenWelshman The US built over 50 destroyers and destroye scorts +100 escort carriers in WW2 they easily could handle the Uboats and B29 was originaly built to fly from Iceland and bomb Germany thats hundreds of bombers each with 20.000LBS bomb load devastating german industry and cities.

  • @jers59 Don't get me wrong the US pumped out massive amounts of war machines and could hold their own for an extremely long time but the combined forces of the Nazi regime and the Japanese forces would eventually come out on top. Japanese forces spearheading the attack followed up by the German forces, it would take a lot of luck to counter them. Like JustaScotsman said the German army would of destroyed either faction 1 on 1, thankfully that never happened.

  • @TheRottenWelshman Never would have happened the german surface navy s never threat to US Navy they failed tp put 1 carrier into service US built over 140 the bismarck and tirpitz were obsolete on drawing board built to WW1 design US built 10 fast BB all better then bismarck and US Cruisers and destroyers had better trained crews and were better built and US built hundreds of amphibious and supply ships bismarck graf spee, blucher all sunk on first mission tirpitz fired guns at weather station

  • @jers59 Sure ok, the US navy had the advantage over the German navy but there's no hiding the fact that the IJN was an extremely potent force and could of handled with the US navy easily. Lets say if a full scale assault from the axis hadn't happened then it would of been one big stalemate, US having no island to hop onto (UK) to launch an attack on mainland Europe and Germany not having a capable enough navy to launch an amphibious assault on mainland Europe, enter the "Amerika rocket/bomber".

  • @TheRottenWelshman By june 1942 US sunk 4 jap carriers in 1 battle at Midway plus killed many experiance jap pilots guadalcanal was another defeat for IjN losing 2 battleships in 2 nights US built and sent to sea in 7 days one liberty ship the Robert Perry the japanese germans and italians combined could not com,e to half of US war production.

  • @jers59 I admit the US war production was considerably higher but either way the US Navy wouldn't of saved the US if it was the only country left fighting against the Axis Powers. Like I said, it would turn into a stalemate, months, years would drag on, German research would be decades ahead, Panzer Divisions all equipped with Tigers and Panthers, Focker Wulfs and ME's defending the sky whilst the Stukas would have as much breathing space as they want to attack stranded amphibious assaulter's.

  • @TheRottenWelshman

Then who gets to ally with USSR would probably win ?

  • @teramatmulia Your Sir have got it in one, the USSR was the biggest threat to the Third Reich, or any country in fact and fortunately for us Hitler fucked up the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, if Hitler wasn't as greedy and mental as he was then the war would of ended a lot different. No Eastern front equals 4 million more well armed well equipped troops, most notably the Schwere Panzer-Abteilung divisions and SS divisions, plus more Luftwaffe units ready to head off any attack from the Allies.

  • @TheRottenWelshman stuka was obsolete by 1940 tigers and panthers for most part broke down long before thyey reach the battlefield, 50.000 shermans built only 1500 tigers built, 1945 US had F8F Bearcat, F7F tigercat coming online and P59 and P80 jets best dive bomber in WW2 was Douglas Dauntles and Curtis Helldiver

  • @jers59 Obsolete but it still doesn't mean its ineffective at what it does which is accurately bomb units, with the Luftwaffe having planes like the Ho-229, Ho-XVIII large numbers of Me-262, the US would of had no chance. By '45 the Panther and Tiger I would be replaced by the Maus and E-100 series tanks and Tiger II. And by '45 the Nazis would of had Surface-to-Air Missiles. Without Russia against them the Nazis would of dominated any attack from the US, only brainwashed people would disagree.

  • @TheRottenWelshman JU87 was garbage on western front germany coud not build 1 4 engine bomber in WW2 and there 2 engine bombers HE111 and DO 17 were obsolete garbage, The kriegsmarine was no threat at all they could not put 1 carrier into service US Navy built over 140 carriers in WW2 including 30 escort carriers for Royal Navy the german surface navy was worse in WW2 german bombers were crap and main german rifle K98 was obsolete bolt action In short the german military was overrated

  • @jers59 I'm not sure if you're either 13 or if you've just been reading the wrong information (in other words brainwashed by shockingly bad books) because saying the German Military is overrated is ridiculous. Ask anyone with a decent amount of knowledge of WWII, Germany would of won without the Soviets. And throwing names of those planes means nothing. Replaced by JET powered bombers and fighters. Kar98k is a Mauser, the base for most bolt actions. Stg44? MG42? No? Years ahead. Books my friend.

  • @TheRottenWelshman germany never would have won krauts had no domestic oil production they could not produce one tenth of US war production, US navy was 150 times better then incompetant kriegsmarine, luftwaffe hadno strategic bombers, and US bombers and fighters owned the skies over germany including berlin

  • @jers59 "Germany never would of won krauts had no domestic oil production" The Germans along with the Italians would of had the Middle East and North Africa oil reserves, plenty of oil I think you'll find, isn't that what your fighting over in Iraq? Like I said a Navy can't win a war on land, end of, if you find a way let the government know. Germany had plenty planned. Who needs bombers when they have IBM's, Missiles vs Fighters = Missiles win and no deaths, Bombers vs Fighters = Fighters win.

  • FW 200 had 4 engines, HE 111 wasn't obsolete, Uboats managed to sink american ships so they were a threat at some level, JU87 was extremely efficient in the Blitzkrieg tactic, K98 was accurate and reliable why fix something that isn't broken? Lawl American tanks were a joke compared to German. Imagine if the Germans could've pulled all their forces from east to reinforce the west. How long would've it taken for them to throw allies back to the ocean?

  • @Protodevil92 HE111 was obsolete junk as were all german bombers ju87 was failure at battle of britain withdrawn from western front by 1940 Most tiger and panther tanks broke down long before they reached the battlefield, and sherman tanks were destroying modern soviet MBT in 67 and 73 Israeli arab wars only german tanks left were in museums. The german surface navy was worse navy in WW2 defeat after defeat US went easy on germany and did not use B29 bombers, P47,p51 owned the skies

  • @jers59

The only reason americans had the air superiority over germany was because the germans couldn't repair their aircraft thus leaving more experienced pilots to fly with partly broken aircrafts. If Luftwaffe's aircrafts had been in a tip top shape like the american planes, not even the B29s would've helped and it might be true what you said about tigers and panthers breaking down before reaching battlefield BUT when they did they usually made scrap metal out of the shermans.

  • @Protodevil92 By 1945 US had M26 pershing tank coming online that could easily destroy tiger or panther the brits had Centurion the russians the JS111 tiger and panther days were numbered and Luftwaffe never could have touched the B29 it flew to high and was most heavily defended aircraft of WW2

  • @TheRottenWelshman 1945 berlin nuked by B29 bomber war over, 1945 US has M26 tank coming into service the brits the centurion US pacific fleet by 19444 could defeat every navy in the world in 1 battle. WW2 the kriegsmarine had obsolete ships non fighting warrior spirit no threat bismarck tirpitz obsolete on drawing boars built to WW1 design and they were main german warships LOL

  • @jers59 Ok you have to understand that I'm looking at the war differently, where Russia wasn't at war with the Nazis, without the Eastern Front Europe would be under Nazi rule including the UK, no UK no platform for the US, no nuclear bomb on Berlin, plain and simple. And you haven't done much reading have you, Plan Z ring a bell? Nazi plan to re-equip the Kriegsmarine? I'd read about that first. And there's no point going back to the Navy, a Navy can't win a war. Bismarck WWI? incorrect, 1932.

  • @TheRottenWelshman Thats a joke the US navy sunk the yamato and musashi and built the greatest battleships ever the Iowa class which were 2 generations ahead of WW1 designed bismarck and tirpitz ships so poorly built they could not stop 6 obsolete biplanes weakest broadside of any BB built after 1930, weak deck and turret armor. The kriegmarine was no threat to US Navy which was built to destroy the best axis navy the IJN

  • @jers59

The U-boats are superior to american sub and without going to war with Russia the german would have conquered the british and ruled Europe down to Africa. America need to haul its army across the Atlantic with no land based air cover. American troops would probably become seasick long before they reach Europe even if they ruled the sea.

  • @teramatmulia really US built fleet submarines in WW2 which d much longer distance then the uboats and US submarines won there war Uboats lost, And Germany would have beating Britain They tried in 1940 battle of Britain before Germany invaded Soviet Union and lost bad. the US did not lose 1 soldier when crossing the atlantic from U boat attacks The german navy was highly overrated no threat to US the kriegsmarine with out doubt was worse surface navy in WW2

  • greeks were not scared by the sirens of stukas or by the huge armies of the third reich thats why we managed to defend our borders for long enough so that the russians gathered an army and managed to beat the nazis.

  • I seem to recall Greece falling with ignoble promtitude once the Germans pulled the Italians'chestnuts out of the fire. Your comment is completely irrelevant and offensive. As one whose countrymen were victims of Stalinist-Russian genocide, I abhor your moralistic stupidity ("good guys" only exist in comic books -- not history!)

  • Excellent comment

  • an dive bomber

  • did u know that the stuka had sirens on the wheels to scare its target...

  • Yes, I did know tthat. But did you know that the Ju-87 Stuka holds the record for most ships sunk in history by anyone type of Aircraft?

  • i think the aichi val holds that record

  • as every1 pointed out so nicely this planes fear factor was un beatable and it remain i cant help a nervous smile then ever i hear the stuka

ps bugger off about who won the war cos there wasn't any winners just countless lost lifes

  • There clearly was a winner, because winners write history and the name of the nazi's have been so distorted and lied about that they have been dubbed jew killers, it wasn't ethnic cleansing if you killed everyone that wasn't a healthy aryan is it? Blacks, Gays, Jews, Poles, Slavs, Communists, Liberals, Opposers to the Third Reich. How is that ethnic cleansing. The Jews say that they have been the only ones who suffered 6 million deaths, try 2 million Jews died. Stalin killed 80 million.

  • so are u trying to convince us that the nazis were good??

  • Nope, Just saying propaganda was a huge part of world war II and it was really a battle of governments. The communists were all by themselves, then you have the fascists and Democracy. Democracy won and spread propaganda about Fascism so it doesn't happen again. If you want to research WW II go look at how organized they were. Go talk to an old german who praises the Reich, because he lived in it. All I am saying is don't let the government tell you what is right and wrong. Search for yourself.

  • Apart from Hitler killing alot of Jews, my personal opinion is that the 3th Reich was awesome and must had been an epic place to live before the war. Germany had lost its title as the German Empire after ww1, but now rose to power greater than any other. All got a job, all had money and German became a real Empire again. Unfortunately Hitler wanted more power and started the war and turned Germany back into a non-reich or empire.

  • The Bolshevik revolution was funded by the Illuminati. Germans pilots trained in Russia. They worked together.Stalin had a slough of aircraft engineers executed.70 000 Nazis were pardoned and entered the US after the war.Manhattan project was using Nazi tech.HIroshima/Nagasaki was Nazi bomb.Same people who engineered WW 2 also dropped nuclear bombs on the Sinai peninsula, Death Valley, Mohenjo Daro, and Sodom and Gomorrah, etc. Democracy is a figment

    of the immies.

  • Also, even Nazi soldiers were experimented upon.

One group was found in a horrid state.

A red cloud was released, possibly from the Bell apparatus, and this energy cloud would explode any ammunition a soldier was carrying.

    A scalar weapon it was.

Scalar weapons explode the atoms of any material with similar horrendous force.

Possibly you knew this, but it is eerie to know. I'll stick with my Elmo.

  • One on one the German army would have destroyed America , Russia or Britain but against all three at the sametime it had little chance.

  • I wonder what the World would be like today if Hitler had not made that mistake?

  • In my humble opinion a much better europe than we have today. as i say though thats only my opinion.

  • Du hast völlig recht!

  • Comment removed

  • Hehe, Inlandsflüge nach Nordafrika, für´n Appel und ´n Ei!

  • @JustaScotsman Yes, but the nazi's had bad plans for europe....An extinction of entire rase is just wrong. And killing all those jews..

  • @JustaScotsman no beause america was in war with japan to and hitler was dumb enough to fight the russains to he never would have made it

  • @JustaScotsman true... half of the modern tech America and Russia has today was captured/comendeered from German tech after ww2.... thats how the russains got nukes

  • @JustaScotsman So you haven't heard of the Battle of Britain then?

  • @MegaMrDamo

Think your getting confused as Iam sure that's the luftwaffe your talking about and not the german army who were vastly superior to anything that the 3 major powers could put into the field. So at the risk of repeating myself ....The German Army one on one would have destroyed each one of the allied nations.! But thanks to Hitlers major mistakes at dunkirk and Barbarossa this never happened.!

  • Great plane for the first year or two. Best "invention" was either the jet or the 88

  • this is one of the best inventions of the WW II

  • i would seriously go nuts after seeing a 50 ton T-34 going up in the air..... if Stuka sirens wouldn't send me to mental hospital... too bad there is no sound

  • that was no T-34, it was a light tank

  • wwhat countrys wanted peace and fought for it?those r the ones that where right(most of time)

  • haha 0:22 t-34 got pwned xD

  • Perhaps if hitler hadn't been such a stupid cunt ww2 wouldn't have happened?

    Invading Russia was particularly smart.

He blames it all on everyone else every single time in true politician fashion. After all if you piss the whole world off enough to wage war against you, you'll lose.

  • haha STUKA gogo !!

  • P51 Mustang too that really did make a huge difference with its long range able to escort bombers over Germany

If the nazis hadnt been such complete shits and started the whole idea of bombing innocent civilians germanty would never have suffered this.

  • Perhaps if the British and French hadn't been stupid cunts and enforced an unjust and destructive Versailles treaty on Germany, none of it would have happened.

Afterall, Britain and France could not win the war by themselves. They needed Uncle Sam.

  • You Americans think you won us the war, but let me just speek on behalf of my country (Britain) that you in fact, did not.

I'm greatful to the Russians and their Red Army. They were the reason the allies won the war, not 'uncle sam'.

  • Not so. Is that what they are teaching in the UK? That Britain won WWII? The British lived on U.S. Lend Lease food, weapons and vehicles even before the U.S. entered the War. When the U.S. became a combatant, even Winston Churchill stated that at last Britain was saved.

The British did not have the power to land on the contact and defeat the Germans toe-to-toe. Alone, Britain could never parade in Berlin in a trial lasting a thousand years.

  • No no no you misunderstand me. At no point did I say "Britain won the war." We didn't. We just offered resistance against the Nazis. What i WAS saying is that there is a attitude form certain Americans that you won the war for us, you didn't, the Russians dealt most of the damage to the German army, and I was saying they were the ones who tipped the balence of the war.

Oh and we do'nt really get taught about the 2nd World War, only really the Vietnam war and Nazi Germany 1933-39.

  • Ummm Ummmm let me see....

The USA faught in 2 epic wars contemperaniously..not 1....We had millions of men in both theaters. The Russian advances did not come until the USA entered the war. Hitler moved a large portion of the eastern front to the western front once the USA entered the war thus enabling russia to advance. In any case no one country won or lost the war thats why it's called a World war history noobs.

  • Thats what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to stop this myth that you won the war on your own and point out the Red army were MOSTLY, not soley, mostly to do with victory in Europe.

Of course it was a collective effort though, everyone played their part. And don't call people "noobs" just because you don't agree with them.

  • YOUR QUOTE "I'm greatful to the Russians and their Red Army. They were the reason the allies won the war, not 'uncle sam'" END YOUR NOOB QUOTE

No no sir you wernt trying to say what I said u said the above and that is no where close to where I stand.

  • The problem is many people in foreign countries seem to think the USA dwells on itself and beats itsealf on the chest and says "were #1"

Well actually 99.9 % of Americans just live their lives and honestly could'nt give two shits what goes on in the rest of the world.

  • Oh yeah and another thing, try and live from our perspective then if toy won't me to come over to the modwest and then you'll "realize what u dont yet understand". Jesus.

  • Our governemnt however is another story. So to say "Americans" are saying we won WW2 single handedly is total bullshit..im a US Marine and ive never been told that or heard anyone say that. Before you judge America come stay here and travel to the midwest for a summer...you will realize what u dont yet understand.

  • Well whenever I watch an WW2 video there is alawys some comment about how you won the war and I'm sick of it.

And thats why people are sick of America, becuse they "couldn't give 2 shits what goes on in the rest of the world." You have an obligation in being one of the most powerful countries in the world to be a force for justice and are we have is war mongering. And your 34?! Your arguments are structered like a 12 year old.

  • no we didnt even if the germans did invade the uk they whouldnt have got more than 17 miles if they stuck to the origoniol plans and kept bombing the airodromes

  • no. what the Germans needed to do was to destroy both the Radar and Airports.

  • @ zaohad1

actually the allies were the stupid cunts of WW2, after the firebombing of Hamburg in 1943 Hitler wanted "the revenge of the german people" that is why they started bombing civilians.

"During one of the attacks on Hamburg in July 1943 a firestorm was created that caused tens of thousands of mostly civilian casualties." of course, "they were bombing military targets" but after that, hell i guess the Germans were bombing military targets as well. think before you speak

  • maybe they wouldn't have done it if Britain didn't declare war on Germany. Hitler offered peace to the U.K. and they said no.

  • i would have to say the thunderbolt and the mosquito were the best of ww2.

  • Wasn't the Me 109 better?

  • The stuka was the plane that destroyed the most of tanks and ships in wwII. the stuka is a dive bomber... how do you say "bombardero en picada" in english?

  • Bomber in Stung... How did u know im Spanish?

  • yo no sabía, es idea tuya

  • Umm Ok...

  • the Me 109 was a fighter ... the stuka a bomber ... so you cant compare these two planes

  • Could someone send me a link to download this video? Vixy and Media Converter won't do it. :/

  • you guys forgot one thing, the germans were afraid of the american infantry.

  • afraid of the american infantry??? every soldier is afraid of the enemy but not specially of the american infantry!!!

  • I'm assuming you mean U.S. infantry or are you refering to the Canadians as well? LOL, the U.S. infantry were probably the least concern for the Germans. The Russians were #1, then the British, then probably the Canadians or New Zealanders, and THEN probably the bumbling U.S. infantry that were prone to wild panic (Battle of the Buldge) and horrible tactics (Africa) and bombing themselves (all over France/Belgium). LOL! I guess the U.S. infantry were not as bad as U.S. tanks though!

  • Whit my information i see that thing difrent... Meny german soldier think Western-allies was so week meny germans keeps place in exsamply France easy plase to be in duty, be cause germans have better tackticks and thechgnology (like tanks) so they keep Allies like USA week enemys. (sorry my bad enghlish)

  • The most fear factions of the war were:Tiger,T-34,Stuka,snipers,siberiens,KW-2,mines,fanatics ............... and bulets

  • Man that T-34 got tanked. But it was so feared because of its terrifieng siren sound that made everyone run for cover when it bombed.

However, as great as this plane may be, it was not the war machine with the biggest fear factor. Oh no! And it also wasn't the T-34 or Me-262 or P-51 Mustang or you name it. No, that title belongs to the TIGER. It's name alone was enough to scare the shit out of the Allied troops. I don't want to know what was it like being an Allied soldier, facing a TIGER.....

  • thats an H39 it destroyes in 1940 france..

  • Yeah. I was wondering what kind of tank that was. The body didn't match that of the T-34's Chassi or turret.

  • wie kann man sich wehrmachtoberst nennen....?

  • wie kann man sich wehrmachtoberst nennen....?

  • The most important part is missing: the sound

  • Most decisive psychological weapon in WW2, besides propaganda, was the katyusha. A Tiger only needed to be outflanked. The stuka was obselete by 1942, and the MG-42...well, that was one heck of a weapon; but it could be delt with quickly by well trained and aggressive infantry squads. But facing a barrage of non-stop katyusha salvos would have been pure hell.

  • True... The sounds produced by the Katyusha rockets tore tuge gaps in lines and provided not just destruction of morale, but great boosts in morale for the sending side.

The Germans had their own too... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the name of their equipment was screaming minis or Nebelwerfers

  • Yes, but the nebelwerfer was a six barrel gun.

  • A six-barreled ROCKET launcher. Just like the Katyusha, it was rocket-based artillery. BUT the two weapons had several differences that proved to be decisive in comparison. Mobility, fire power, production. The Nebelwerfer found it's home in the dense hedgrows of Normandy as the Katyusha's claimed the open country across Russia all the way into Berlin.

  • I know! In the end Katiusha prooved itself a better weapon due to its good mobility.

  • u r right men...

  • The Stuka's siren created a large deal of psychological fear where ever the war took it. But if you compare the plane to its other partners in the sky, it was really the "ONLY" plane with a great deal of fear factor.

The Tiger tank as well with its mounted 88 mm

and 76 mm raised the hair on many necks.

The MG42 brought more terror on the battlefield.

All these details-small parts which played crucial roles in the many German military successes throughout the war.

  • what the hell are tanks to do with aircraft...

  • it was the combination of tanks, aircraft, and machine guns mainly the best of the German terror weapons is what N2513Yat is talking about miltonluvsno

  • It s great! :D:D:D
