This action caused the "Solid South" which was heavily Democratic to turn into the Republican Voting Block that we see today. The KKK supported the Democratic candidates in the South until the national Democratic Party supported blacks. Then the KKK and the Southern Democratic Party evolved into today's GOP. How Sad! I, too, am a Lorain County consituent of Sherrod Brown. While Mike Dewine was writing legislation with the drug companies to hurt seniors with Medicare D, Sherrod was paying out of his own pocket to bus seniors to Canada to get their necessary medications. Sherrod will be an awesome senator. Dewine is a Bush yes man and works only for the drug & oil companies. The choice is easy for me.

Tragic is a government who has failed its people in exchange for more power and money from corporations. Sherrod is for the PEOPLE and I can tell you that FIRSTHAND as I have observed his tireless efforts for the PEOPLE, being a consituent in his district.
