the cream eyeshadows, when applied lightly, make an awesome base for eyeshadow. they aren't as shiny/greasy looking after but they make the colour pop.

I feel like you didnt really like any of the products you bought, but only because they were 1$ then you accept them... I rather spending a couple $ more in a better product-brand but knowing that I would actually use them and they would look cute! Just my opinion

@MsKendallKay you can use it for your brows too, smart one. you don't use it to separate your brows. you use it to brush your eyebrows after using brow gel or coloring it. hence the name -ELF Eyelash & Brow Wand ($1) from her blog. lol, so don't correct me when i know what i'm talking about.

I really like most of the elf products for the price. they are great much cheaper than most convenance store stuff an like it just as well if not better. but i hate hate hate there mascara. It looks great but it is very sticky. I felt like my eyes had glue on them.

You should get another quad, the Day 2 Night one is really amazing. I have really dark skin and it shows great on my eyes. They have other great quads too, you just have to experiment with them :)

I have the cream eyeshadow that you got and when I tell people about it I always end up saying mocha squirrel instead of mocha swirl and the way it is designed to be used is to put the lighter shade down then lightly dab the darker shade on top of it and it will actually dry to a powder finish if you give it time. The last bit was just for a bit of information

@TheStyleBlog if you use the elf eyeshadow quads that you said you didn't like with mac fiz plus or water, the pigment tends to show better!! They aren't the best of quality still but it does help!! I <3 your vids...please respond!

@karasue102 I think some of them are worth getting. I really like the eyeshadow shader brush I got after it stopped shedding the first few times I used it. I'll definitely be getting more brushes from them & their lipgloss is awesome. I haven't been super impressed by their eyeshadows & their liner pens are great but they don't have much product in them. An inexpensive alternative is Nyx Eye Markers. I also like the blush a lot. So some of them are awesome!

The lip gloss that you didn't know the name of is called pageant princess, i think...I really love the super glossy lip shine from e.l.f you should try it out!

And for the Mocha cream eye shadow, another suggestion, is to use it on your waterline very lightly, although it is slightly uncomfy!

@RosaSPF04 Vixon is actually a red gloss with a little pink. It doesn't look purple in person. I'm glad you brought that up. Definitely don't get this if you're wanting purple! Maybe it was the lighting or my lips. I've heard you can find it at Target stores, but I'm not sure about drug stores. I've only ordered it online because I can't seem to find it anywhere else.

Hey, Sara! I'm a big fan of ELF, but as you may already know the products are pretty hit or miss. I either LOVE something or despise it. LOL FYI, the stickers/labels come off really easily, so the one on the gloss probably came off. :( You should try their studio blushes (amazing), luscious liquid lipstick, and their flat-top powder blush (great for foundation). Their single studio line shadows are amazing, as well! :)
