@rosebud19999 They don't make those collections until after they've made ALL of the expansions and the next edition, like the Sims3, comes out. I've been playing these games since 2000, and I have been continuously collecting them ever since. Individual expansions are QUITE easy to find if you get them while they are new. Family Fun Stuff and Celebration Stuff is hard to find NOW because Sims3 is out.

Why would I go buy the PACKS if I already have them all anyway?

Good things for each one

Nightlife: Cars, community lots, dating, pleasure aspiration, restaurants, vampires.

good items: dj station, poker table, photo booth, bowling.

season: 4 season, seasonal activities, gardening, plant sims, 6 new careers.

good items: Skating rink, pool slide, juice (make juice from fruits and vegies you gardened).

If you are more of a family man get seasons, but if you want more variation in community lots gets nightlife.

Pets is good and all, but if you are limited on space or money, then it isn't the best choice as it only brings pets into the game.

Don't get me wrong they did the pets well, it is just that there are better expansions that have a longer lasting appeal.
