  • "I got caught and almost got mugged." How does anyone "almost" get mugged. I suspect it happened when he was talking out of his arse.

  • If they paid their fair share of taxes the city could easily provide intercoms at all the stations. Typical PR BS.

  • 1:21. He didn't pay for a train ticket!

  • how does that prevent muggings?

  • I'm thinking there's a guard from pfizer looking for a job....

  • Like a Good Neighbour, State Farm Is There.

  • To undermine all your hard work and your integrity as a film maker. All you have to do is make a film about the dangers of the proliferation of a certain product/commodity/resource. Once you've made your film outlining the dangers and creating awareness - at the end of the film ask and appeal for the very thing which your film indicates as being toxic. That's how you make your self look duplicitous and supercilious. A little like Michael Moore and oh yes - this film maker appealing for cash.

  • @telemetry9 You think this movie was made for free? There actually doing the world a favor why giving us this information Are they selling us product NO there asking for contributions and i think they deserve it for there amazing effort.

  • I stand by my words.

  • @telemetry9 i respect that

  • Who is this guy kidding? I've frequented the area, and Marcy projects remain a shithole..it may not be as bad as it was 20 years ago, but new turnstiles and that shitty "talk back box" have little to do with it.

  • @quasuno I hate the G line, takes forever.

  • @quasuno It's project housing. ::eye roll::

  • the security guard just thought to himself "Oh it's him! I'll just pretend I didn't hear anything. Hopefully he'll get stabbed. Good riddance!"

  • lol This guy looks like such a douche.

  • hear what he said I almost got mugged so we decided to make a change unless it affects them personally they woundnt do shit.

  • I bet the guard that didnt answer the call was fired after they finished filming :P

  • hes so embarressed by how the gaurd won't answer...

  • Sooooo.. they will find your body.... next week... but hey, there are less crimes now.

  • how the fuck can that pfizer guy think he is sane ,he is totaly fucked ,,fuckin idiot

  • Wow, Pfizer has pinned this poor man down and raped his soul on camera.. If that isn't evil then i dont know what is.

  • What a condescending prick.

  • "We provide the Pfizer guard..." Guess what? There's no-one there!

  • As of March 2010, Pfizer was the largest pharmaceutical corporation on Earth. For how much they mess with people's lives by creating unnecessary medications for corporately-designed illnesses, reinvesting into the community is the least they could do.

  • What an oddly smug way of targeting an area that "wronged" you..

  • 5. Scalp every other indian from a different tribe (women and children included) to take more territory for hunting. 6. Take whatever you have the power to because it's yours now. 6. Drink white mans fire water 7. smoke white man's tobacco 8. ride white mans horses and 10. kill white man

*9. well, indians do read and write so good.

  • @derekHSmith No, I don't read too well...Which is why I'm currently getting my masters degree, working two full time jobs and mentoring? Scalping was actually started by the spanish. Native scalps were bought and sold like animal hide, with the scalps of children being priced the highest. Tobacco is a sacred plant to north american natives, and it was long before europeans came over. Looks to me like some white men don't know much about the world after all :s

  • Wow! Even though this was filmed several years ago and I live over 3000 miles from New York City, the smell from that mountainous amount of bullshit that just oozed it's way out of that man's lying, repulsive orifices was still pungent enough for me to have to lean away from my computer, stand up and go and open a window... Pooey!

  • you can still Jump right over, i don't see a very good purchase there

  • OMG way to go Pfizer cop gave the company a WONDERFUL image

    still waiting though

  • How to correct a democracy once it has gotten out of control: watch?v=BBezaI0bnAQ&

  • Haha That was a pretty fouled-up display! I doubt Pfizer 'intended' that little pc of idiocy to get 'air-time' -- "CUT!!! Take 2!" But just noticed that this "part" of the series is [now so aptly] numbered, THIRTEEN! hahaha Perfect! /<._.<\\

  • Oh, its Pfizer (white capitalist) calling, I better get to work! Otherwise, a call comes in from a Queens train station (black working class), let's get some donuts and swing by after . . . Did grandpa not realize that this is what he was saying?

  • JAJAJ i think a security guard was fired in pfizer ...

  • Christ, I didn't even know such a thing existed... I can barely even comprehend...

  • The vast majority of corporations help the community because it's expected of them. And many when they get the chance to harm the environment.

  • i dont think this documentary would be 23 sections long if they cut out all the advertisements....

  • So, in other words if they want those corporates can contribute to society far more than they try to advertise. Why they don't do it then? Why they don't work to stop hunger all around the world? Istead they force goevrnments to start wars to increase their profit margin. What they give with a spoonful amount, they take back with a shovel full.

  • How out of touch is this guy!? "Hi we're your neighbors!" ...black chicks look at him like he's crazy. "This subway is safer now! ...I'm sure they'll answer before we're through here...."

  • I could still hop over that turn style. .

  • 1st - We are your Friend, 2nd - We know what's best, 3rd - YOU MUST OBEY!

  • Good 'ol smiling Tom... isn't he lovely? And SO trustable. I'd lay my kids' futures in his hands all day. What a guy.

(But I bet that missing "Pfizer Guard" got a string of right nasty fucks thrown into him after the film).

  • Corporations like Phizer pay out huge sums of money to make themselves look good and give the impression they benefit the public. This way when someone raises the issue of human rights violations or pollution they can say--yes, but look at all the good we do!

Corporations have only one goal--to MAKE MONEY. If we really want them to serve the public good, then we need to pass a Constitutional Amendment abolish "Corporate Personhood" and ban corporations from politics.

  • @wbaltzley

If only....It's where we have to get to,though...

  • This is disgusting.

  • I presume the "Pfizer Guard" had already heard about the company's sale of that property, because he never answered Good 'Ol Tom's call...which would be a lot of help to anyone who were actually being mugged in the subway: "Pardon me; before you beat me up, I have to make a call...I'm sure he'll be only a few minutes."

But at least the Transit Authority has nice new toll stations that keep people from getting free rides. Yeah, Pfizer! Woot! Make 'em pay!

  • So do they put the boxes in neighborhoods nowhere near their properties? In other words, aside from protecting their employees who presumably use that station, are they really out to serve the non-Phizer public?

  • oh pfizer, whats with you people? hes just trying to help... by buying congress, thats what you want right? pfizer to make decisions for you? who controls the money?

Thank you mr. pfizer! i love you.

  • wow, i ride that train. recently pfizer bailed out.laid every body off and is selling the factory for condo's. Where's the Pfizer guard now?

  • Id say, they talk about overadvertizing, look at what they do every 3 mins ffs!

  • pfizer...tom...what a douche..hi diddly ho neighbors.patheic mr. rodgers approach ..anybody see thru thjis prick??

  • Pfizer whore, your little box didn't work. --And yes, breaking the some of the movie (which is excellent, by the way) up into 2.30-3.00 bits just serves to piss off your audience. It makes me NOT want to put money down to buy your (again, excellent) film. Re-upload in 10 min. bits.

  • fuckin.annoying.advertising...

a little ad is ok, but after every 3 min video a 1 minute ad? thats just stupid.

in the end you (the people who made this film) are just like the zeitgeist inventors... tryin to make money out of the most popular internet "theme"

  • Please tell me how the zietgeist creators are making profits. I would really like to see you try.

  • you have internet access, and i hope a working brain, do it yourself.

just 2 examples are the money collected via advertising on the leading "zeitgeist movement" sites.

and do you know math?if so, look up how much the costs for mass creating cd´s/dvd´s are, and then how much the zeitgeist founders want you to pay. no profit? these guys are freakin rich because some dumbfucks actually "buy" this crap!

  • TERMS: THIS MOVIE IS FULLY COPYRIGHT.

WE ALSO ALLOW AND ENCOURAGE IT TO BE DUPLICATED

  • Now about that mass advertisiment on leading zeitgeist sites, please visit each one:

    zeitgeistmovieDOTcom

    thezeitgeistmovemenDOTcom

    zeitgeistcolombiaDOTcom

    thezeitgeistmovementukDOTcom

    thevenusprojectDOTcom

All of us who work with the movement understand that there is corruption when there is money involved. The world is what it is because people are always thinking: "What is in there for me?" This is issue exactly what the project is trying address; how to dis-empower incentive or ego.

  • i haven´t said "mass advertisiment", only normal ads.

i was once a zeitgeist "believer" myself...but times change along with things i saw.

its obvious that some claims made in zeitgeist are not entirely true. most quotes that are being quoted are out of context.

misleading references in zeitgeist : part 1

    911 bullshit in part 2

the third one,the only one that really got my attention is not bad. but in it, like in the first two parts, misleading information.

    wrongly quoted quotes.

    no need thx

  • dont get me wrong. i sure like that whole "zeitgeist movement" idea.

its good to get people informed... but imo not if the content of this information is "evil cooporations"

"911" and some partially religous bullshit

  • The movement has absolutely no relation whatsoever to zeitgeist 1 Peter Joseph has stated clearly that that movie was an independent film. In fact he doesnt believe in the 911 conspiracies and he considers them a waste of time so does Jack Fresco who is the leader of the Venus project. What these people believe that is that there are no evil people or evil entities. It is just people who are the product of their conditioning and are acting in contra productive way without them being aware of it.

  • look at that smile. isn't he friendly? he wants to make our subway safe. he's giving houses to those niggers. I LOVE PFIZER.

  • oh great. we're all one happy family. that's great. go ahead and fuck me in the ass pfizer guy.

  • Here's a plan - cut out the middle man - just call the Transit cops directly.

  • @mightyseagull but that would mean not exercising capitalism to its fullest extent. Do you hate money? use the Pfizer guard.

  • @mightyseagull LOL, exactly Goes to show they want a stake in everything.

  • @mightyseagull so they can delay the authorities, leaving the victim of crime in distress, possibly causing them to have an emotional problem for while after, which Pfizer will have a drug to help? Of course they will get hooked, the drug will cause them a bunch of other problems and they will need to take more drugs...

  • ha ha typical attitude of a corporate sociopath....

not until he is personally threatened in the subway does he realise that his company could financially contribute to a public ammenity...

and even thats spin..... who wants to bet that this drug company was subsidised or funded by the government (using the small mans taxes)... to create a totally inadequate crime prevention system... as shown first-hand by the ceo himslef!!!!!!!

that my friends is the definition of irony....

  • Thanks fucker, now its jsut harder to get on the train when you have no money. Neo medievalism

  • The fed prints up money from thin air. We don't need to pay taxes. Taxes should not even exist. What the hell do we owe the FED anything for. We didn't ask to be born on American soil. The minute we where born American we became slaves to the Federal Reserve . The FED must die! as with the current political system. We need to revolt. This country needs a face lift real bad. Unfortunately we are in so deep its likely the world will continue this path until the path destroys itself.

  • I don't see why people get upset about the producers asking for contributions. If this were an ideal world you'd contribute and they would have funds to make the next educational film for your to enjoy and learn from. I applaud them for making the film and releasing it for free and glad they are letting people know that their contributions are important. Have you ever watched PBS? Great shows and they get funded by guess who??? The people!

  • dont they put cattle and sheep in turnstiles

  • omg, its so fake =.=

  • There is so much mess on this planet due to such an artificial pricks like the guy in blue shirt. And I totally agree with Grlphriend comment. Much too far begging.

  • LOL that guard is soo fired

  • LOL Tom speaking, please dont make me look like an idiot...

    ITS TOM SPEAKING!!!!!!!!!

ITS FUCKING TOOOOMMMMMMMMMM, I'M BEING ROBBED!!!!

Dont worry, we'll pop over and fire him later ;)

  • Pfizer is your friend

  • they don't do anything that isn't self-serving, no matter how "community-minded" they make it look.

  • Totally agree.

  • less taxes for rich= they have more money= they take more risks= they make more money.. and in the progress of it all thousands upon thousands of jobs are produced

  • Yeah, that is if they don't store it in a swiss bank account.

The rich want one thing, to control others.

  • less taxes for the rich = they have more money = they take more risks = they crash the global economy.

Whenever taxes are cut for the rich, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Your logic sounds nice in theory, but in practice, the rich getting richer has been a bad thing not only for the lower classes but for the planet.

  • Wrong. Whenever taxes are cut, everyone gets richer. If rich people take risks, 1 of 3 happens. 1. They benefit and so do those in their companies. 2. They break even. 3. They lose the money. In the last case the market is able to absorb the impact of the negative return because the market is comprised of many companies.

Phyzer was able to take their profits and invest it back into the community. That's far more than any government agency has done for the public.

  • In my fantasy world, the skies are green!

  • LMAO

He says they made the subway safer by adding a Pfizer guard but I think

    somebody killed the Pfizer guard,

a lot of good that does, what a joke!

  • Uhm, the hypocrisy with the ads popping up is killing me lol

  • did you notice the smile he had plastered on?

and the way he was greeting the people? I thought it was someone from Walmart before they revealed who he was!

lol, the Pfiser guard was probably non-existant. Even if he did, by the time someone responded, the person that called for help would already be mugged or whatever.

  • Hi, how are you doing today?

  • they really play with the publics mind. time to put a stop to all of this.

  • Wow its scary how much big Pharma has its hands in all of society ! Its in the top 3 most profitalbe industries in america.

  • probably capped the gaurd

  • why rip on the guy for helping. These are the kinda people America needs.

Nothing better than a Documentary against Capitalism showing advertisements in their videos. Long Live America!

  • Why rip on this guy? It's all an illusion to evoke the exact response that you just had.

They're taking out far more than the put back in.

  • That would be google putting ads in, not the video makers.

  • "Hi 200 people VOLUNTEERED to work on this film. We want money now. Even a dollar. Like my spiffy sunglasses and how i show you everyone working and having a good time? Wow its like public TV, 2 minutes of show 3 minutes of begging..i mean asking for donations" Hey they volunteered. If they needed money, they'd have needed it WHILE they were working. not AFTER. Get a new job, damn hippies :-) (ok the hippy parts a joke)

  • Wow, that guy is THE corporate whore.

  • private coorporations cannot provide public goods. Since in a free market economy there would be no incentive to provide positive externalities! Also known as tragedy of common. The only interest would be to cash society as seen in the pfizer "doors'' in the subway

  • that guy was creepy as hell

"hi, im from pfizer! pfizer pfizer pfizer, this was built by pfizer, pfizer guard. did i mention pfizer? oh, it doesnt work, lol forget about it"

  • hahaha yea that was pretty good

  • Why is this down?

  • thanks for posting - brilliant work

  • He almost got mugged but then the guy was like, "Oh shit, you are the vice president of Pfiser! Wow, I'm so sorry. Listen, man, can I get your autograph?" And then he pulled out a pen, stolen from a Hemophiliac who had died from HIV in tainted medicine, and was like, "Sure." He popped an Aspirin and the pain magically went away. It was fast release. He shoulda snorted some of the heroin his company used to make. Would've gotten him feelin good. Yes, it was that pure. And he signed, all was well.

  • could you imagine what theyd do to the guy if he had managed to mug him...theyd probably use him as a human guinea pig in their experiments

  • Corporations are not the problem (and neither capitalism). The Problem is when Corporations get in BED with our Government! Corporatism, not capitalism (which creates facism). America will continue to die and be BAD NEWS for Humanity unless everybody wakes up and does the only thing necessary to improve this country - Pick up where JFK left off and Abolish the Federal Reserve (Destroy Illuminati).

    truthknowledge (dot) com

  • YOUR FIRED LOL!

  • That's 'You're'

  • That one pfizer dude was wierd as hell.

  • I don't see how I still couldn't just jump right through that turnstile, is that guy just retarded or what?

  • How in the world do you "almost" get mugged?

Translation: he saw a group of scary looking black guys.

  • hahah yeah and one of them probably went "can you please spare a quarter or two I gotta make a phone call"

  • Where is Richard Branson?

    How he always remains untouchable?

  • I'm sure Tom here is good intentioned, but he might want to tone down the act a tad. Tha man's like a walking advertisment for Pfizer to the point of creepiness.

  • corprate controll of the world= totalitarian control of the world

  • i dont watch tv i dont buy brands i dont eat out be like me and corporations will wither away and die :)

  • i'm just like you. i don't buy anything non-essential or practical to my lifestyle. but the dead-heads around here reason that i'm a cheap meiser...typical american superficiality.

  • who is fucked is the citizen who depends on a low paid corporate guard as a reliable go-between with 911. it's a good lesson for everyone, i.e. it ain't gonna happen like they lead us to believe.

  • I live in Canada, and I'm just glad to say we are generally very anti-Capitalist in Ontario. It really feeds the Anti-American fire wprldwide when you have people who are supporting "free markets".

  • That's good to hear.

Sadly, most people here in Alberta are pro-capitalist.

    =[

  • that guard is FUCKERED.

  • why doesnt the police have a box? aint that just like religion, in a sense, priests (or any other figurehead) becoming the 'middleman' to freedom and civil liberty

  • funniest shit about this. MY best friend lives right there! haha. so iv been there alot and the neighborhood is shitty as fuck and it has not gotten better at all.

  • Does anyone find this a little scary?

  • ahahahaha wow you think Tom from Pfizer would have had someone waiting to answer him back on the subway help phone.....not a great response time Tom!

  • By the time the gaurd answers or calls the cops there will be a murder....

  • haha the gaurd is soo fired

  • Hello? Hello? Hmmm. Nobody home.

  • This is by far NOT Canada's most popular documentary. I've lived here all my goddamn life and have not heard of it once. On the other hand, it's nearly impossible to find a Canadian who hasn't heard of David Suzuki.

  • I live in Bruce-Grey country, Ontario, and we watched this last semester in my high school World Issues class ;) I've heard of it a bunch of times.

  • Where in Canada? Alberta?

  • I agree, we shouldn't rely on the private sector to rescue us... so, the ppl. voted for Rudi Giulliani who made NY a nice place to walk through and live in... ooohhhhh, bad example. He's a square republican, so bad example. Sorry!

A rich old white guy had a choice; wait around til the crack o doom for the local gummint to do something about ghetto strife, or spend his own piles of cash so he can actually go outside in the land of the free.

  • This fucker should be shoot dead in

    the middle of the street.

  • that pussy needs to take karate instead of depending on big government to save him

  • You mean big corporations, not big government.

  • This guy is the quintessential corporate whore putting on a show. The security guard was likely taking drugs - Pfizer drugs.

  • what a dork

  • Wonder if the security guard was fired?

  • this is a funny segment of the doc. This kline worm, you can feel his pain, such an empty robot haha.

  • Haha, gratex, take it easy on us robots! Sheesh!

  • You're a brazbot, so you're not empty :P

  • Pharma, toys, fashion.. all that is your choice to buy or not.

Let's stop get manipulated by ads! We can consume more cleverly.

  • Heard on the news pharmaceutical sales were at an 8% increase over last year...a $274 BILLION increase!

    That's just in an increase.

Let's hope they would do something for those poor souls who've made them so rich! It's pathetic.

GET OFF THE DRUGS PEOPLE, most of you probably don't even need them.

  • Yeah. Fight the corporations, people - tip your dealer.

  • Yeah, comments on YouTube are weird. It seems to be a coin toss whether or not your comment works.

  • Where are the comments? I know someone who left a comment...but I don't see it here. (Hmmmm)

  • Watch all 23 parts, it's worth the time.

  • Pharmaceutical companies are among the worst. Last night while watching a movie on TV I counted at least 10 drug commercials. Where do you suppose they get all that money for advertising? Or should I say "for BRAINWASHING" the public? In my opinion they are nothing more than "legal drug pushers!"
