Corporations like Phizer pay out huge sums of money to make themselves look good and give the impression they benefit the public.  This way when someone raises the issue of human rights violations or pollution they can say--yes, but look at all the good we do!

Wrong. Whenever taxes are cut, everyone gets richer. If rich people take risks, 1 of 3 happens. 1. They benefit and so do those in their companies. 2. They break even. 3. They lose the money. In the last case the market is able to absorb the impact of the negative return because the market is comprised of many companies.

Phyzer was able to take their profits and invest it back into the community. That's far more than any government agency has done for the public.
