  • Beautiful technique, and a pleasure to watch you work with it. Two questions: (1) What was the brown product you applied (beachaman)?, and (2) what type of paint did you use, e.g., oils? Thank you.

  • @c0c0nutgr0ve The brown stuff was actually bitumen. It's more black than brown actually.

  • you old bastard put some pants on.

  • ur in your boxer at 3:30 lol u like to paint naked=D?

  • I think the vases are beautiful. Just my kind of style. I have lamps that look the same as some of these, and I have real 'antique' pottery from around 2000BC up to about 700AD. Most will say they're ugly, but I think they're beautiful and have character!

  • hi, why do u colect these ugllyyyy vases xD ????? scaarryy O__o hahaha

  • Thanks for the technique! And I was wondering if you learned all these teqniques by yourself? and you figured these things out from just experimenting?

  • Fabulous. But you don't fire it? Because that looked like a piece of greenware that you started with.

  • That was a really cool technique! Thanks for sharing it with us

    peace

  • I love the pottery...I think I might have to start finding my own pottery paint brush holders..lol. the technique is awesome...and I am so going to use it on canvas...maybe a leather mask? oh the ideas my bff gives me. Bye the way! The heart is beautiful..

  • Love the mask what you can do with tar is amazing. I love old looking like relics. I use different rusting bins for different patinas and rust. But there is a product that is called instant rust bought some need to try it.

I collect all kinds of things...love very old glass buttons especially the domed ones that look like small paper weights. I am a hoarder of art supplies and things I think could work into a collage.

As always a fantastic technique and video

    Lat-errrr

  • I collect books - I LOVE books they are taking over the house. I also collect gaming miniatures fondly termed LEAD. I always see something and think wow I would love to paint that and somehow it always ends up in the LEAD box unpainted.

As always I love the technique. Bitumen is a wonderful thing. :o)

  • Love the new technique. AND the pottery is fabulous! I love all kinds of pottery. Thanks for sharing your collection.

  • i really like your technique for the masks ... and that turquoise vase is great ... (& wow, so old too ... from the 70s! ... almost as old as me! lol :) ... xoxo

  • Where do you buy your bitumen?

  • Great vid as usual, I collect art for my walls, as shown in video response, and I also collect pigs, some are beautiful, some are incredibly ugly!

  • I think im gonna try that technique

  • pretty cool what you did with the mask. Where do you find all the time Gary. Your a busy man i tell you. I guess i collect mostly art stuff that interest me ( art books, frames, art supplies)

  • the faux verdi gris on your pottery looks really good.....;D

it might sound lame however ..... I collect art supplies, I always have, I actually have chalk pastels from high school..like over 20 years ago, it just keeps on going, love them especially now that i'm no longer afraid to use art supplies (that probably sounds nuts to some....but I know some of ya know exactly what i mean.;P

  • Cool technique, altho I gotta say w those particular masks, my own taste hopes you leave some of them just fired. Love those firing marks:-)

  • I really like the Danico one towards the end. Love stuff like that. I collect hand blown glass ornaments, very old glass medicine bottles (many turn purple or green from being in the sun for many years because of the lead content), and old or unusual tins. My current passion is old rusty "stuff" in hopes of using it in my future artwork...de Meng influenced. Hard to name it all...drives my husband crazy LOL!! He just smiles and shakes his head. Nice metallic technique, by the way. Thanks again.
