why does everyone end up having a battle about nitro V electric. i have nitro, brushless and large scale petrol and they are all good in there own way, brushless is where its at for spped but nitro and gas is still great

@blingblinginyaface in theory nitro should be faster, but electric is cheaper to get to these insane speeds. On a nitro you would need an airplane size engine, id go for a os wankel and add one of those superchargers(wankel is 4 stroke so you can supercharge) or one of the 4 stroke OS that already come supercharged. It was a 1.20 size motor, a real brute. With the right gearing and a strong body im sure those can beat this car

ok i seriously need help i just finished building my car(tamiya subaru impreza 2008) and the gears on the steering servo wore out so i used instant cement to attach the servo horn to the servo but that didnt work and now i cant take off the servo horn!!!

right mate, its a bit of hard one tht... dont use cement! if the gears have worn out on your servo and your servo horn you basically need a new servo and a servo horn! it shouldnt cost you more than about £20 or $30 if your in the states. , go to your local model shop that caters for racing and they will sort you out....a basic servo should be fine. put some grease on the gears when u attach it. and dont do it too tight or too loose. just right! ask me more if u need mate

I sing tword nitro cars only because of the amount of time you can actually drive it compared to waiting on batteries to cool and then charge and all that stuff. 702 awhp actually... its got a unique turbo set up from a local speed shop...and new driveshafts so they dont kerplunk when i launch off the line..its converted to all wheel drive for better quarter mile times and the added weight is negligable because i tore out all the seats and changed my double stack wing to carbon fiber for weight reduction....any other questions just hit me up ;-)
