The fuck? Original fights lame? If you're looking for mind-numbing, overdone flashiness, then yes, the original trilogy fights are lame. If you look past your superficial views, then you would appreciate the originals a lot more. Those fights in V and VI were brilliant. Definitely more brilliant than the flipping, spinning nonsense that was portrayed in I, II and III. In no way is the original lame. I still like the prequel too though, but the original is WAY BETTER.

@iHateCrappyMusic Although I despise the f-word, I have to point out the flashy duels weren't sped-up. Although if I'd be dueling, it'd be Episode V speed. I like all the eps the same, they're all cool.

@iHateCrappyMusic Well, the only duel that had the right to be so fast was Yoda vs. Dooku. Yoda had to be fast. But Episode V duel was the best. Episode II was the least favourite movie in every way. As much as I see from the comments of other people, a solution to the "Lucas problem"(that doesn't exist in my opinion) would be to get a time machine and try creating lightsaber duel between present Lucas and past Lucas. Who wins?

The Yoda vs. Sidious duel was a horrible mistake on the part of Lucasfilms/Lucasarts. The duel should have been long, extreme, and should have showed when Yoda disarmed Sidious and how (as it is obvious that Sidious lost his lightsaber... again).

you know when anikin and obi won fight thats actually them fighting. the camera didnt speed them up at all. i mean the force effects was force effects duh, but it was all them guys.

greatest lightsaber duel...Hayden and Ewan are so awesome....so emotional and passionate with their expressions and skills...love it...I would never critisize Lucas for anything to do with SW...biggest moneymakers in film history...

yeah darth maul is so acrobatic and kickass with a lightsaber that he has a duel lightsaber which is like a total slap in the face to a reqular lightsaber. And look at darth vader when he's in the suite he's like frickin' robo cop he can barely move here he is about as acrobatic if not more than darth maul, but darth maul is totally better anyway because he has thoughs awesome tats that are painful as hell, vader cant even take a little burn.
