i wouldnt call that roughing the passer either.... a lot of those plays have to deal with the players in ability to stop themselves... same cud be said for roughing the kicker
No it was not Helmet to Helmet but that is the reason it was called. If you look at the skycam view it appears from the angle the referee would of had that the face mask of the defender connected with the QB's helmet which as you can see is not the case as it hit the shoulder pad about an inch from the QB's helmet. I can understand the mistake but the #1 rule in officiating: If you can't see it completely you didn't see it and it's legal.
