Me speaking as a McCain supporter I would have to STRONGLY agree that McCain's enviroment plan will also work well with the economy, recycling can open up millions of jobs as well as nuclear power. McCain can and will make health care affordable and bring the economy and housing market back on its feet.
Nuclear power is good but when it comes to waiting for it to create jobs just forget about it. A plant has no more that 100-150 engineers and workers-how many nuclear plants is McCain going to open 25k? Alternative energy research and innovation will create not only job in the energy market, but in universities and colleges across the country - it will reinstate us as a progressive and innovative nation. Be glad about the abillty to use 25% of the world's energy. Are you mad? America uses two times more energy per capita than any of the highly developed countries in Europe. And this is not because people here walk to work or anything, it's because of our high energy efficiency. You cant be proud of consuming energy that you don't actually need, it costs you more as a person (money), and it is harmful to both the economy (again high production costs) and the environment ( gas emissions).

Why do you think people are pushing for cleaner sources of alternative fuel? If oil becomes unnecessary to the economy, the Middle East has nothing. As well, if America continues exploiting oil, as well as pulling out of the Middle East, it won't matter to the economy, because America will be destroyed by either extreme heat, flooding, glaciers, or a combination of all three.

Be glad about the abillty to use 25% of the world's energy. Are you mad? America uses two times more energy per capita than any of the highly developed countries in Europe. And this is not because people here walk to work or anything, it's because of our high energy efficiency. You cant be proud of consuming energy that you don't actually need, it costs you more as a person (money), and it is harmful to both the economy (again high production costs) and the environment ( gas emissions).

Furthermore, on National Healthcare is a horrible idea. The United States is the number one country in the world for medical advancements. This is also because we have some of the best doctors in the world which would start to falter under a government system. Obama is Machiavellian style politician.

How is National Healthcare a bad idea? You have the most advancements(though i doubt it) because people have to give cartloads of money to get some service. I live in a country with national healthcare, and it's great, you never have to worry about anything. My mom had cancer last year and she was treated back to health. You know how much that cost? not even one dime, absolutely free. Why should it be any other way? Just so you can worry all day about premiums?

As for the statement on healtcare, of course he won't mention free universal healthcare after what happened to Hilarry when she tried it when Bill was president. And of course they don't know anything about the economy, they have advisors, the deciding factor is thus their abillity to take their advice(which Obama seems to have).

All of Obama's programs are paid for in his tax plan. ALL OF THEM. Obama operates under a strict PayGO policy, whereby he only starts programs he has funds for.

They said the same crap about Bill Clinton, and he implemented a whole load of stuff, and ended up with a surplus, as opposed to Bush who generated a $4 trillion debt.

Pretty much every power plant in the US runs on either coal, natural gas, or nuclear.
Cars are the largest factor in our oil consumption. We've got a quarter billion autos just here alone. We consume 25% of the world's oil production every year, and most of it goes to transportation.

When made President he will raise taxes unless he's actually changed but that never happens in politics. You never raise taxes in a recession. His approach might have resulted in a passable or good presidency 30 or maybe 20 years ago, but times have changed in a lot of ways. Take a real look at the world we live in today, instead of looking at the candidates first. It then becomes clear who is the natural fit. I think both parties have principles that can generate good ideas. I just think that this should be a time of collective introspection for the GOP, not the presidency.

progressives seem to take mccain's ability to relate to people accross the political spectrum as some sort of screw-up, which is sad, but its how they think and emblematic of who progressives are. if it was ever discovered that obama walked past a republican on the street without spitting in his face, progressives would be calling him a "neocon" and probably a race-traitor as well. one notes all of the creepy nonsequiturs focussing in on the obama lady's race. their obcession is apparent.

of course the clear intent of showing him reaching accross the aisle and having a pleasant moment with an obama-supporter is to emphasize the fact that mccain actually is a post-partisan uniter of the parties and a genuine moderate, as distinct from obama, who is a straight down the line leftist with ties to some of the most radical elements of the fringe left.

in fact, whereas obama simply asserts that he is for "getting past party divisions", he only says so as a means of defining disagreement with his line as a crime against a monopolar "unity" under the left.
mccain however has a trackrecord which proves his ability to seek comprimise and build bridges accross political lines - and it's aknowleged by the public at large, according to recent rassmussen polling. 61% of voters trust mccain's ability to reach accross the aisle.

mcsame has a track record of flip flops from campaign finance to immigration to torture etc. and he has supported the bush agenda for 8 years. The only time he reaches across the aisle is to shake hands with blue dog dems who are as bad as the rethuglicans.
mcsame is not only exactly like bush, policy wise, he is old and confused about critical issues from shia/sunni differences to iran to nuclear proliferation to the mortgage crisis to taxation and so on and so forth.
