2:25 This guy nails it. The main reason I was so happy that my son took an interest in skating (and so far to some extent hockey) is that it's given us something we both like to do together and has been a bonding experience.

It's physical, so he gets a workout. It's a team sport so he starts learning that commitment. And most importantly, it shows you how much more you have to learn and do to develop, which teaches dedication and focus and realism.

This is pretty much the same situation we had with george bush 8 years ago. Just because people would like to have a beer with the guy, it doesn't mean he should be president.

Just because you're a hockey mom, it doesn't mean you're a viable candidate for vice president. Presidential elections have turned into advertising campaigns, where political parties have to create an image that people want to vote for rather than sticking to things related to presidency.
