Simone Beaufoy is not new about these exploit.
This movie is amazing but it looks like the famous Full Monty in far 1997.
Similar lines: bad conditions of life(steelworkers fired and without money=lifestile of poor indian people), an attempt of redemption (a strip=a possible victory ina famous show), outcome unexpected(strip turned fine=victory at the show), final amazing performance(final funny strip=final amazing dance).

As much as I love The Dark Knight (I've seen it 4 times in IMAX) I still think Slumdog Millionaire deserved it more.

i hope Slumdog don't win any oscar. He is a racist British scumbag. Boyle is just laughing all the way to the bank by ridiculing a country and it's people. Some scenes in that movie is just not practical and absolutlely racist and disgusting.-the toilet scene, the fat policeman, and the hidu-muslim conflict. And one of the most respected name in india was given to the character of the fat policeman. very vindictive and racist. There are many good looking and brilliant actors in india.

i loved the dark knight as an action movie but it lacked an oscar quality. i think its better then some of the other movies in the past that have been nominated but the movie had many faults and kept relying on Heath ledgers amazing performance to save it from being a bit long and boring. You can bet your life savings Heath ledger will win a oscar
