hahaha they called our lei a plumeria lei!!! it was actually an orchid lei that was painted.... so everything that was in our pockets were purple!!!!!
ah this bring back memories! My sister was in 10th grade that year. she was one of the flag girls holding the PEARL CITY sign. I actually went on this trip as a tagalong with one of my best friends who was also a tagalong. He brother was 9th grade perc. This was a SUPER rainy day! We were sitting in the stands, wearing 2 ponchos each, and we STILL felt the rain. Despite the rain, this was one of the most fun trips I have ever been on.
Yeah my sister got sick as well. That was quite a march you guys did, and without ponchos too!
Heh, this makes me want to bust out my old clarinet and start playing again. I miss my marching band days sometimes. Practice was crap but performing was sooooo worth it.

i was a freshmen back then. playing the trumpet haha. i got sick from that trip XP but it was a fun trip
