i think a good actor to play gambit would be Jared Padalecki he is the guy who plays sam winchester in supernatural.dont get me wrong this guy was good but Jared Padalecki looks exactly like gambit.hopefully for future movies.

Taylor Kitsch was the breakout actor of 2009. That's my opinion. Let's have our fingers crossed for a Gambit movie! And if there is, I think the director would be Antoine Foqua.
I loved Taylor as Gambit! However, I feel his part was too short and that some added muscle would have helped a bunch for his character... As for the accent, I think he did a pretty good job. Agreed. Wasn't thick enough for me. Kept thinking of my teen years watching the cartoon in the late 80's. The guy that voiced Gambit then had a really thick cajun accent and it would make me swoon ^.^

I don't know why people keep going on about his accent. Taylor's wasn't perfect, but it was a lot more authentic than the 90's cartoon Gambit's. And after five years in New Orleans, I know what sounds Cajun!
