  • how did you do the mirror shot @ 0:27 ? i mean, shouldn't there be a reflection of the camera?

  • @jessrocked I'm not an expert but I guess you can't see the reflection of the camera because if the angle of the wind shield. If you look closely at the video you will see reflections of the tree above the car...

  • @jessrocked not really. It's all about positioning the camera right.

  • i don't understand the dislikes... good effort on the clip!

  • Nice.you guys on on the right track.tycoonaction@gmail.com

  • How did you do the footage through the windshield of the car?

  • @00Deific00 come on dood lol not to be mean but theres a hundred comments on here that answer that question lol its called a car mount. you can learn how to make one on youtube

  • what color correction did you do? I see some "crushed blacks," maybe some saturation, I don't know what else though. Looks really good. The "film look" is mainly color correction right? Personally I am more a fan of 30fps so don't try to convince me otherwise.

  • Awesome !!!

  • what kind of car?

  • i would suggest filming at 30 fps, then rendering it at 24 fps

  • Good quality video is this raw footage without any editing?what type lens did you use and how did you get that film look?thankyou

  • it started strong and ended horribly, thanks though I think this is the camera I'm going to get.

  • great site to buy camera - etronics101dotcome

  • hey! Great pictures. Have the same! Which lens did u use? Thx!

  • Have you insaled cinestyle yet?

  • @FritzBakon whats that

  • @from07till Its somthing you download onto your camera that makes the image "superflat" and easier to color grade and it looks great. I am making a video using it this weekend so check out my channel if you want to see an example or you could google it.

  • @from07till -_-

  • T3i is Canon 600 D right :S

  • @NerdStyle58 Right. It's basically a t2i with a flip lcd I read.

  • no foly? ok....

  • Will a memory card with more gb provide more minutes of video footage?

  • @JRFWhatIsItNow .............what do you think? Dumbass

  • @DHDEVEN So yes or no?

  • @JRFWhatIsItNow Im not even going to awnser

  • How do you shoot the camera looking at the front windshield?

  • @MrReman23 car mount

  • @from07till Thank you. I've always wondered that.

  • I usually edit my videos with sony vegas 7. If I use it to edit t3i film, will it lower the quality of my videos because the t3i's quality is so rich? If you think it will, do you have any recomendations on editing software for pc for free or cheap? (I like to make music videos usually)

  • @KyleLovesBrittany0 it all depends on how you render it

  • @from07till what's the right way to render it?

  • @from07till whats rendering?

  • @KyleLovesBrittany0 ive edited in vegas before with a t2i and it doesnt seem to lessen the qaulity

  • i came

  • Nice, but a little bit weird...

  • How did u record yourself from the outside? I can never figure it out! What did u use ??

  • @shaffwan07ct lol its called a car mount

  • Nice vid, how did you mount the camera on the bonnet for the external shot?

  • @VIDEOSwhatVIDEOS i made my own car mount. theres a youtube video somewhere to show you how.

  • @from07till where did you find the music? Did you purchase it or is there a place I can find? Thx man!

  • how much is this camera?

  • @Yesfilmography i bought the body only for around 900

  • @from07till WOW MAN! you got scammed... for 850 I get body+tripod+lenses... batteries, cleaning kits and stuff..

  • @TDMasterpiece you probably had an ebay kit. those things that come with the kit are useless and cheap. i paid more becuz i dont trust ebay. lol.

  • @from07till ebay is fine as long its a store or something, not used or /(porivate seller)

  • wtf did I just watch?

  • colour corrected? and did you use the manual focus or the autofocus? i bet the manual.

  • @MrDasjoerd you can only use manual focus

  • @from07till not right, at settings you can use the auto focus while filming, but this isn't right to do. i also own a 600d. but is the footage colour corrected?

  • @from07till Can you quickly switch focus points throughout a shot, or does it only focus on the object that's closest to the lens?

  • The only downside to the Rebel T3i is that it doesn't have manuel color temp controls or midrange ISO values.

  • Cool! What's the name of the song in the video? I like the beat. It's so catchy

  • Nice! :) Looks great.

  • Nice video/editing/sound, Im thinking about buying a t3i. How long would you say it's safe to record before overheating/internal issues?

  • @gumbomombomombogumbo It gives you a warning and automaticly shuts down. It really depends on the outside temerature. On a hot summer day you will overheat pretty fast. (20 minutes orso??) i never had a shutdown with my 60D and i film alot.

  • How many minutes can the Canon Rebel T3i record?

  • My [Don't look into it, it's my OCD advice] I would take out the DoF[Depth of Field] shot with the key and the lock in the beginning and shoot it normal. I would have had a blurred foreground at first when entering the car, and when the thing was thrown, i would have focused on the foreground. lastly, when you were fixing the mirror I would have done the same thing, when it showed on your face I would have focused.

  • I think the colors are too washed out to have that "cinematic" look (especially the whites). Bringing the brightness down would help a little. I wrote that comment when I was watching the first half of the video, the second half was well colored/lighted

  • Very nice little shortfilm :)

I'm curious about the shot from the cars hood aswell, any tips and tricks on how you did it?

  • how did you get the angle when you was driving? what software you used to edit?

  • Hey man, really cool vid. I was wondering though, how did you achieve the shot @ 00:30, a fixed rig maybe? I'm curious haha!

  • O_o

  • what brand memory card did you use? I bought a cheap 8gb Class 10 memory card but I can't shoot live video for more than 10 secs. I researched and it could probably be the memory card. So now i'm looking for a good brand memory card.

  • @idajene Naw dude, I have the same 8GB class 10 memory card and it works fine. Class 10 is one of the best you can get.

  • @idajene hmm. i doubt its the memory card. try turning off the "auto shutoff" option in the menu. its very unlikely after only ten secs of filming but dslrs are known to over heat but that is normally after filming long shoots

  • @idajene Oh i know what you're talking about. I have the PNY 8 Gb memory card and the same thing happens. That's why i'm getting a Sandisk Extreme Hd Video Card instead now. :D

  • @from07till I recently purchased a Rebel t3i. I have a question with the video recording function. When Im in video recording mode it cut off after approx 10 seconds.. Do you know why this is??? I would really appreciate your help.

    PM

  • @ChangeMuzik It might have to do with your memory card...it has to at least be class 6 from a reputable company, like Sandisk. I got a Transcend Class 10 but it did just what you're describing. I would say a class 6 or 10 from Sandisk would be fine and you will only get the "automatic stop" every once in a while. hope this helps. :)

  • @ChangeMuzik my T3i was doing the same thing. Go to your settings and format the card. That should fix it. It worked for me. Triciawearsboots is correct...you need to have at LEAST a class 6 SD card so the camera won't have trouble recording to it.

  • @idajene u need a memoery card that has high mb speed like 30mbs i can record 30 min at a time

  • @idajene Try Transcend brand class 10 I have 32gb bought it just for $50 ! Works great ! price+ quality best value!

  • @from07till Hey what kind of program do you use for your videos??? especially this one? and in what rendering specs?! i use sony vegas pro 10 and learning still lol

  • @elBoannski i use pinnacle studio 14 and i render in 720p mpeg2 because my computer runs a little choppy with full HD. im upgrading soon.

  • @from07till I red I use a pinacle studio something to render in 720p (I tought of a pinnacle tv recorder or somethig that gives verry bad quality xD ) and after: because My computer runs out of floppy with full HD xD

    I think I should go to sleep (It's 3:40am xD )
