What a great big fucking disappointment this game was. Usually when I buy a bad game, I trick myself into liking it. But this was just abysmal and shallow and boring. Never make a game again, amateur devs.
This game is greatness, all the CoDs are basically the same game repackaged with different guns, levels and a slight graphics upgrade. Brink is doing something new.

@MakoVlazkov Well think aboutit this way if your a light body type playing as the operative you'd be stealthy and be good for hacking turrets alone to help clear a path for oncoming teammates but if your a heavy bodytype being an operative then you could just go in with a group of teammates and hack the turets as you reach them
@brantbkr what do you mean less realistic? the artwork or game play because i love not being able to jump over a 1foot wall in COD, the artwork of Brink looks really nice and well polished. cod seams more rushed, i also love full customization in characters and weapons. COD what 1-2 attachments, brink like 6 or 7 at once

i love team supportive games like this, really loving the gears of war 3 beta to. iam 100% sold on this game, i think Splash Damage have done an AMAZING job with this game.

wow this looks way better than those earlier videos, graphics improved, less wobble on movement and got rid of the arrow for objectives and put an icon on the screen :D i like it
I like that the basic pvp multiplayer follows the campaign. This game seems like you'll control your own character and not a generic commando that consists of two arms and a gun.

This game (thankfully) is going to create a community of players separate from all the other FPS games on the market today. It's safe to say that because of the depth this game has and all of the various features and ways to play, it's in a class all it's own. Comparing it to CoD is naive and stupid, because CoD DOESN'T compare to this. Period. CoD Fanboys need to go back to their easy as shit game, and leave Brink to those of us who actually play FPS games for the challenge of new experiences.

Hmm not sure about this game, the first trailers which came out for it made it look like an epic scale game similar to Borderlands, but now it looks more like smaller focused levels, similar to TF2, but continuous levels/story. Still I would prefer it to be an open world massive game like Borderlands. I guess trying a demo will be the only way to know if its worth getting.

@ItsJamesCuhhh Yeah, it may seam a bit complicated, but I kind of prefer that. Having objectives the teams need to complete will help people get off their ass and prevent camping. And sometimes regular TDM or FFA matches get boring, hopefully this will spice up online FPS play.

@UntoTheBreach24 COD is popular because when you play it you get brainwashed into thinking all fps's should be this simple and easy. then people start choosing weapons that explode over bullets and panic knifing. then the other part of the process is when you get tired of it and only complain about how the next one will be so much better but then you buy it and you miss the old game so you re-buy it. activision just made $160 off 1 person

Hmm not sure about this game, the first trailers which came out for it made it look like an epic scale game similar to Borderlands, but now it looks more like smaller focused levels, similar to TF2, but continuous levels/story. Still I would prefer it to be an open world massive game like Borderlands. I guess trying a demo will be the only way to know if its worth getting.

Soldiers - Plant explosives (pretty much every FPS ) replenish ammo (battlefield) (scavenger - cod) molotov cocktail (cod W@W)
Operatives - plant hacking devices (KZ3) disguise as enemy's (KZ3) hidden mines - all of cod?)

@Protegebuddy I bet it's better than Black Ops. I tried playing BOPS after playing BC2... man BOPS levels suck! And everyone spawns behind you ALL OVER THE MAP. OMG time for a new Multi FPS like Brink. Brink looks like it'll be Good. Not game-changing, but Modern. I like how the Medic does not have to sit next to you to revive--he is less of a target now. Little things like that. Don't forget you can run & climb all over the place. The graphics rock! Large 3d models and colorful guns

@ItsJamesCuhhh Yeah, it may seam a bit complicated, but I kind of prefer that. Having objectives the teams need to complete will help people get off their ass and prevent camping. And sometimes regular TDM or FFA matches get boring, hopefully this will spice up online FPS play.

@wadad17 no u can change the settings from single player to co-op and to multiplayer. but in multiplayer there is drop in and drop out so there might be some bots but i doubt it.

I see that some people complain about the outlines and all. This isn't CoD, this is Brink (which reminds me a lot of Borderlands for some reason.) I'm sure you'll get used to it pretty quickly.
