@NinjaSporkPirate technically, a higher f-stop, like f11 or f16 is a SMALLER aperture than say, f4 or f5.6. A higher f-stop (smaller aperture) gives you a greater depth-of-field and therefore more of the scene is in focus. As for mounting, I was walking around London for two days with a tripod over my shoulder, or my friend Hazel carrying it. =)
Hey, you mentioned you shot this off of your Nikon DSLR, I do the same.
However, how did you make this so smooth? Doesn't the lens have to refocus each capture? Or are you just using a quality piece of glass set to infinity?
@NinjaSporkPirate you always have to set the camera on manual focus and use a sharp lens. You can set the focus close to infinity but I always try to focus on something that is about 100 feet away. You can also choose a higher f-stop to make sure everything stays in focus.
