From a technical perspective I didn't find his playing style revolutionary, but from an auditory perspective it was pleasant to listen to. The beginning reminds me a little bit of the beginning of Andy McKee - Drifting (the first 30 sec or so), but McKees playing is more complex and the song sounds more cohesive. I am def. not bad mouthing Butler. I can't play a lick of what he can; just an observation.
