For max. speed and accuracy hold that particular saw in your left hand where it should be. He can't see the line the way he is using that saw.. When someone starts in the business it's best to use both your hands as much as possible the goal is to become ambidextrous.And don't cut the cord on the saw like the saw in this video that brings cutting to a dead stop.

He holds the end of the board so that when the cut get far enough, it bends up and binds the blade, which could then kick back, stop the saw and wear out the motor faster, and not to mention that he could break or loose a finger.
