@MrLOMPST99 you need to set the ils frequency for the runway you are landing on into your NAV1 radio. Then, follow ATC to get the optimal altitude to capture the glideslope for final approach. Set autopilot on, and turn on the Approach (APP). If you are at the right altitude and flying at the right heading, the plane will automatically capture the glideslope and begin descent.

@MrLOMPST99 the plane may be turning because you might be controlling only one engine. Press e to select all engines for control, or press e+1+2+3+4 to select all engines one by one.

@MrLOMPST99 To reset the joystick buttons, go to the control menu in the game and click on "reset defaults." If FS2004 does not detect your scenery, you can manually update your scenery library in the game menu. Also, make sure that your AFCAD is not a FSX AFCAD.

@MrLOMPST99 I suggest that you first unplug the joystick and then plug it back in. Also, check online that you have properly installed the latest drivers for this joystick. If all fails, try to recalibrate the joystick in the game settings.

@MrLOMPST99 for afcad sceneries, I suggest you copy the afcad file into the add-on sceneries folder, since FS can automatically update that folder.

@MrLOMPST99 Windows Movie Maker cannot record since it is a editing software, not a camera. You can download Fraps from the Beepa website (it is only a demo, however). Fraps will most likely slow down your game since recording and playing at the same time consumes a large amount of resources.

@adipolivava if you did everything correctly, you should be able to select the airplane from the aircraft section menu. If you don't see them, then you did not follow the read me closely enough.
