There are no cheap wide lenses, However if you look every week on ebay for a sigma brand or tamaron, you can get a used one that wiell work with your camera for a lot less than a new Nikon brand lens.
Dear Krazyhobo69, I went to our site and your videos were quite nice. I like the new home theater set up you have. As far as me being an idiot, I would have to agree with you, so you won't get an argument from me on that. Ricky Gervais and his new show has made the "idiot" lexicon quite the popular these days, so I say thank you.
Hej Jon, it dephends what camera sensor you have, if its full frame sensor u gonna get 50mm from a 50mm lens such as on 5D, but on 7d or other cropped sensor, it dephends how much its cropped, that much x mm u gonna get xD
I spend 5 minutes or more softening the newspaper, if there are still the metal and sand, they are not hurting the my lens, but I don't advise others to do this is they don''t feel comfortable.
thanx for the tips matey. love it. i use micro fibre clothes to even wrap up the camera in the bag, and have found them useful in keeping condensation away as well. cheers again.
Hi Jon, how about using a microfibre cloth? It's cheap and works well. I use it to wipe anything like my laptop screen, my desktop screen and even my camera screen.
Hi Jon, D5000 n00b, and your videos are really helpful. Is part 3 ready yet? I can't seem to find it.
thanks a lot for taking the time to make these videos. Even if SOME of your tips are in books, it makes it a whole lot easier to have a real person explain them on a video.
True, but really, there are no secrets in life, because as soon as more than one person knows about something, its not a secret, is it? As for full frame sensors, I should have mentioned it, you were right, I forgot.
I did not tell you to do it, but in an emergency situation, if you spend 5 or more minutes softening the paper, it becomes like cloth. I have never had it scratch a lens, but If you are uncomfortable , please don't do it, and yes, I am crazy.
Dear Bobcorn -I don't think that is true, but I will back it up, Find at least 7 out of 15 tips in the manual ( supply page numbers) and I will send you a check for $60. Part three is coming out next monday)
Ok main thing about ratio 1.5 is when You use dslr camera typ if You using full format camera there is no ratio. You Should just say that much for people how don't know.
Part three is not done, We do the whole thing one day, and start adding the cutaway shots and titles on the other days. As the cutaways and insert shots and music are added we post the section.
Great vid!! I have had my Nikon D90 for a yr now and I still don't know how to use 1/2 (or more) of the features lol so these vids really help. Thanks!
Glad you like them. If you want to learn the other 1/2 the features and more, consider getting the 2 dvd sets D90 made easy, you can get them at elitevideo website

its not a matter of old film vs digital = x1.5 focal length. it's "crop sensor DSLRs" only are that are different
Canon's APSC (on cameras below 5D) is a 1.6x crop factor.
however this is correct for SOME lenses like EF-S or Nikon DX which only fit crop sensor bodies.

U got one Black & one White son?
That is so cool :)
Usually Arabs have back & white sons as far i have seen, interracial marriages are very common in Arabs, Don't know much about USA on this thing.
I lived in an Arab country for 2 years.

Yes, They were both adopted at birth. In the usa it is not that common but becoming more common. Thanks for saying its cool. They are fun, cool kids.

Newspaper is made of recycled materials and can include all kinds of teeny, tiny bits of garbage like metal shards and bits of sand.

You're crazy to tell us to use newspaper! That can scratch your lens. Don't tell people that, they'll end up ruining their lenses.

@silverond I'm used to see all the parts of the video in its order and in constant time frame. This is a bit dragging it along.
btw
Tip for the music. You dont need such loud music on the voice over part.
