@willbeckles No - you have to detune your bass by a half step. So Eb, Ab, Db and Gb. (If you listen to the original recording you can clearly hear the low open string in the first few bars....reference to your bass will tell you that this is Eb and not E. From a historical perspective, it's interesting as from what I've read Jamerson wasn't known for detuning).
