I think saying Wu and Tribe are total opposites is a little exaggerated. While Tribe had a more optomistic look at times. Lyrically, both groups have present a hardcore, yet equally intelligent product. While Wu has the whole hardcore sounds down pat. Tribe (especially on Phife's part) really demonstrates that on Steppin' it Up, Lyrics to Go, and the Scenario Remix. Also Wu had songs involving what's going on in society, while still dark. Prime Example, being Ghostface's verse on Tearz
