He (or he-she/It) Reflects Himself through the many deities that they worship. And not ALL Hindus refrain from eating Beef! Im not Haitian, but Ive studied religion as well as mysteries on a serious level for over 9 years, where I used 5 of them years practicing daily as a Vodouisant and the 3 last years studying as a Houngan- and as far as what I have been taught by my spiritual mothers we dont use Vodou for harm or evil. (And we dont raise zombies for that matter) In fact thats the exact counterpart of Vodou and the work of a bokor or uninitiated magician.
If I would be ignorant I would throw you the same coin back and ask how Christianity is a religion of peace when some hundreds of years ago you slaughtered and burned people on stakes who didnt accept your faith- But we should know better yes?
I know that this is not to blame God, religion or faith because that is the act of man and us as men sometimes need to fail to learn and evolve thats our nature. But that doesnt mean I say I am right and you are wrong. We all have our path and respect and understanding is the only way to avoid conflict and war. I believe this and you believe that, I respect your faith so please respect mine.
