  • ¿Es la voz de la niña? parece el tono grabe de una adulta? o es un montage?

  • how could ANYONE dislike this video!!!!!!!!! she has the most amazing voice i have ever heard

    !!

  • She Toys with the most difficult songs where others would stumble she soars like an angel spreading her wings. Effortlessly

  • damn she got some pipes

  • For interested parties, 7zipzapper deleted all his/her messages and disappeared. Didn't want you thinking we were imagining things.

  • @Laundis They run and hide when they realize that everyone has caught on to their jealousy and resentment, and other ulterior motives. These individuals are pathetic and should seek counseling.

  • @Laundis Listen fool... no doubt you are the self imposed Dicktator here. Obviously I realized none of you have anything better to do, than pervertedly obsess over this little girl.

Noting; of course, that she's like a DRUG HABIT to you Criminally Insane Super Nutjob fans .

Remember; she's already reached the top, now has nowhere to go but down!

Now I'll leave you Jackie Jesus Freaks to wretch in your DT's, contemplating her Julliard School of Music Rejection. It's all downhill from here! ;-p

  • @7zipzapper I'd rather be obsessed with liking rather than hating as you do.

    Goodbye(I hope).

  • @Laundis Not when the LIKING is obsessed on one person, thing or object. That then becomes an Addiction. Opened Minded People w/ Varied Interests, likes & choices are more likely to be LIKED themselves by others of varied Open Minded Interests, Likes, etc & less likely to be destroyed by one loss.

In Pop and Rock Music, obsessed fans have been known to kill themselves. You people are the type to bring that degree of OBSESSION to Classical Music Fans!

Enjoy your Delirium Tremens (DT's) guys! ^_*

  • @7zipzapper I promise not to kill myself. Thank you for your concern.

  • @7zipzapper I do have one question. Why do you find it necessary to hide? Your profile is a complete blank. I showed you mine... why can't I see yours?

  • @7zipzapper Is your name Maren Montalbano by any chance?

  • @7zipzapper YOU are the one who is OBSESSED! OBSESSED with hatred of one of the most talented singing prodigies the world has ever seen. YOU are so insecure in your own pathetic life that you feel a desperate urge to criticize and make derogatory comments toward anyone who is successful. You are a pathetic, lonely person who needs to seek counseling immediately.

  • @7zipzapper Oh my, even though you are entitled to your "personal" opinion, it seems as if you have gone off of the deep end here in your evaluation of certain posters of comments. When someone leaves remarks that are filled with spiteful, derogatory, and hurtful statements, then they have lost all of their credibility and cannot be taken seriously. However, I do take your remarks seriously, and I think that you should closely examine your attitude......seriously! Good luck with that problem.

  • @holywells 7zipzapper has a very serious mental disorder, and should seek help immediately.

  • @7zipzapper I just wanna say I'm not an obsessed wierdo or anything, I'm a girl, and I love Jackie's singing. I just wanna put it out there, that she doesn't need to attend Julliard to become great, shes already there, and unless someone takes out her vocal chords , I don't see how she'd loose fame anytime soon, she's pure talent, and she seems like a sweet girl, and as she ages that voice will only get better, I don't get why you think her career will go downhill...

  • @Beekyskeep 7zipzapper is a very pathetic individual who is extremely jealous of Jackie, and resents the fact that Jackie has become famous so quickly. This person only wishes that she could be 1/100th as successful as Jackie.

  • @Beekyskeep Nicely put. The detractors have reasons; usually not good ones. At the top of the list are jealousy and envy.

  • Comment removed

  • @7zipzapper I've never heard so much bitching in 8 sentences in all my life. You loved her in the past... you mean like 1 yr ago?.

  • Comment removed

  • @7zipzapper This is an 11 yr old girl we are talking about. What she has accomplished already is nothing short of miraclulous. She is light yrs ahead of most 20-30 yr olds. What you have brought up has been discussed ad nauseum on this very site. It definitely is not news. Maybe by 13 she'll be perfect. She looks different in this video from all others because of a particular make-up artist.

Your comment is likely to draw a lot of fire.

  • @7zipzapper You are one sick puppy.

  • @7zipzapper If you "classically trained self proclaimed experts" knew anything about "prodigies" you would realize that they typically don't follow traditional techniques. They are almost always pioneers, and quite often redefine standardized methods. Jackie has a number of her own techniques, and they work beautifully for her. Are you aware that she was the top Classical Albums Artist for 2011? She has accomplished more in 2 years that you ever will, so get off your high horse.

  • @Laundis Wow, here we go with the "jaw quiver" topic again. It sure gets old, doesn't it? It worked really great for Charlotte Church as she climbed up the ladder of success in the classical crossover field of music. If Miss Evancho's technique is so "bad" then why is she the most popular artist performing her type of music, why is she the top selling CC artist around today, and why does she have the best vocal tones of them all? She's only 11, and says that she will use what works best for her.

  • @holywells Yeah another "expert". Quite frankly I think Jackie is perfectly aware of everything she does and does it because she needs it at this time but that it will be jettisoned as she gets more physically developed; much already has. She not considered "prodigy" without reason.

  • Oh no! her handlers are stealing her innocence away, with this sexy demeanor, no, no, no! I love the innocent & pure Evancho. Please dad don't let those wolves publicist change our Jackie Evancho.

  • With every passing day the arguements surrounding Jackie Evanchos future seem to intensify. It is a topic that has no answer, only time will tell. I feel blessed to have heard her voice and will continue to support her career as long as she continues to share her remarkable gift. She has traveled to places most of us will never see or experience and has performed for and captivated people of all ages and social standing. Her fan base cares more for her well being that her vocal longevity.

  • @robo9999 .....You are right target robo, I wish everyone could see this !!! MOST PEOPLE ARE JUST PLAIN JEALOUS" Ilove remarks such as your's I guess I will have to take the good with the bad (to bad is where I step In!!) thanks again

  • Lol! Battered kids cannot bring the music out of the notes, too wounded and fragmented. This 10 year old has an all time great voice and sings with her whole body, soul and spirit too totally exquisitely to have been cruelly forced into it. She so obviously LOVES singing. Lol- if I could have, I'd have done it to wear the Cinderella dresses alone! I do not believe there could have been 65 s dislikers. There must have been one or two sour pusses pumping the thumbs down!!

  • She sound like a 30 year old right epic voice.

  • After all these times, I still can't believe this is the voice of an 11 year old girl!! Simply angel!!

  • There are so many people looking after Jackie in their own way, how can anyone think they can post asinine comments and not be called on it.They will regret their post after Jackie`s devoted fans take them to task.

  • @zebramike100 yes we will. this is a special little girl that owns the heart of america...

  • @zebramike100 I'm sure she's a lovely kid, and I hope the best for her... But some parents are just awful, and do shit to their kids... Who knows what goes on behind closed doors. Some of the most talented people were mistreated in one way or another as children.

  • @Doomguin It would serve you much better if you would do some research into just exactly what Miss Evancho's family is really like instead of posting uninformed and speculative comments. She truly has a very loving, close, and protective family who have her best interests at heart. She spends a LOT of time with her friends, relatives, and playing and enjoying the life of any normal 11 year old girl. Mike and Lisa have left the choice of her career entirely up to her and she has chosen wisely.

  • @holywells Thanks for adding this info holywells. This person obviously didn't do their research before posting their horrible comment.

  • @holywells She's an 11 year old kid... She should be worrying about school and shit... She shouldn't have her "career" left in her hands at this point... I mean DAMN! When a kid has a talent, you let them work on it, let it grow, and have be a normal person... At LEAST until they turn 16... Otherwise it's just exploitation. You don't leave a child's future entirely up to them. Listen, children can always impress people, but the decision making part of their brains are underdeveloped. It's not ok

  • @holywells I mean what's wrong with all you people?! You're all too impressed by this little girl to realize that she's going to grow up into an adult that doesn't understand the world or have lax childhood memories! And what if she would have found something she liked EVEN more than singing? If you take away the rest of her future before she has a chance to discover it, then you're potentially robbing her of a happier life.

  • @Doomguin I am not really sure as regards your reference as to "all you people", but I can assure you that there is nothing "wrong" with me personally. I think that at this point, if your interest is indeed genuine here, that you'd gather some great information about Jackie's lifestyle if you would watch the videos of her being interviewed by ABC 20/20, and the ones where she is with David Foster during the recording of her albums and the PBS concerts. They will clear up most of your concerns.

  • @Doomguin Jackie has stated that she is doing what she loves most in life, to be a professional singer. She has also stated that she still has plenty of time for her friends and family, and does things that kids of her age normally do. Perhaps you should have done your homework before posting your erroneous statements here.

  • @HotRodder2100 That's not the issue. I've looked up her home life online, and I know what she says... But there's more to social development then just "hangin with friends" and doing what her age do... It's SUCH a huge picture. Everything from school, or playgrounds, to walking down the damn street. And some kids are great at things that they outgrow... You can't just stick a kid in the public eye before they've learned how to REALLY be a part of society... Her life will NEVER be the same now.

  • @Doomguin "doing what kids her age do"* it's not healthy... I also think child actors and actresses aren't right either... I mean look at all those celebrities that have been famous since a young age... Half of them are in rehab, or terrible scandals have hurt their image. It rarely leads to a healthy lifestyle down the road.

  • @HotRodder2100 You could list more child stars that have had screwed up lives than you could ones who haven't... ESPECIALLY the really big names... Like what little miss Jackie is supposed to be... She started too early, her parents enabled it (if not took advantage of it... Only time will tell on that one), and now she probably isn't going to have a good adult life. Don't respond to this because what I'm saying IS just speculation, but 10-15 years I'm HOPING to eat my words. But wait and see.

  • @Doomguin Is your name Tim Page? You sure sound like him.

  • @HotRodder2100 And what if I WERE the famous, and well educated music critic?

  • @Doomguin Then everything that you said would be considered as erroneous garbage. Tim Page is well known for being extremely biased against child prodigies as a result of his own unhappy experience as a child prodigy.

  • @HotRodder2100 LOL! Thanks for the lesson. I was actually too lazy too read his wiki past his job description. hahaha.

  • @Doomguin That's not covered on his Wiki site. He was most likely too embarrassed to include this information. Conversation is over.

  • @HotRodder2100 lol. ok. btw, (on a side note) think about what might not be on OTHER people's wikis.

  • @Doomguin The facts speak for themselves. I have presented my evidence, and you have failed to present any to the contrary. You obviously have some ulterior motives for your insinuations, which have nothing to do with the FACTS.

  • @HotRodder2100 hey not rod its me you are wasting you time on a wet behine the ears kid they are all getting lazy (short cutting words Just look at their channel, and what they have on it that tells the story, instead of worring about their selves they worry about someone who already made their mark in the world, most of these failures and sheep type mimics will amount to labors, and wanna be's Jackie did what she wanted even if she stopped now!! money will carry her through! thats not her goal.

  • @Doomguin Here are some examples of his own works in which he criticizes classical crossover artists and child prodigies: "A Critic's Closing Lines: Tim Page, Leaving on A Fond & Hopeful Note", The Washington Post, July 11, 1999, p. G01, accessed January 2, 2012 and his memoir, Parallel Play: Growing Up with Undiagnosed Asperger's, in which he discusses his own unhappy experience as a talented child. Tim Page is a pathetic excuse for a music critic.

  • @HotRodder2100 Your last sentence in that comment wraps it all up very nicely, HotRodder2100. There's no way that Jackie Evancho can be even remotely compared to any other child star! Most of the others had parents who only cared about the fame and fortune instead of the child's welfare. I suppose that Mike and Lisa are such a rarity in today's world of marginal parents that it is hard to imagine what really great parents they are. Also, Hayley Westenra started on stage at 7, and is doing fine.

  • @holywells Agree with everything you said.

  • @HotRodder2100 Children who are Jackie's age should not have to be responsible for singing -- even when ill -- because the livelihoods of whole orchestras, concessionaires, theatre personnel, agents, and hundreds of others depend on her to perform so they can feed their families.

  • @RoboSlater ????

  • @HotRodder2100 Yes, those comments did leave some rather open ended questions, didn't they? Oh well, perhaps a rough night. By the way, for anyone who may be interested, her last Leno performance (Dec. 2011) was not uploaded to YouTube because "jimjosh64" worries about the Leno people getting upset and did not want to lose his channel. It was uploaded on other video websites and is available for viewing. One website is "vimeo.com".

  • @holywells Yes, they did, and not sure why it was directed at me either! Like you said, perhaps a rough night for the poor chap! Thanks for the info about Jackie's last Leno performance.

  • @RoboSlater It's Jackie's dream come true, why would a child of eight stand in front of a mirror and practice every day singing on her own, when she could be outside playing with other kids. Her mom and dad had nothing to do with that, Jackie at that young age knew what she wanted. I think for her on stage is like having Christmas every day I am sure her mom and dad set her down and said: are you absolute sure this what you want. I'll bet she now has play time all over the world.

  • @Doomguin Your point is important. Once the livelihoods of whole families become connected and reliant upon Jackie's childhood choice "to be a professional singer", it is hard to change course. She has performed while ill (her last Leno appearance which, for that reason, is not posted on YouTube). Anyone who overzealously denounces your quite valid points seem to have an unhealthy emotional investment in this little girl, people who Jackie's parents fear more so than any critic.

  • How hard do you think her folks hit her before she could sing like that?

  • @Doomguin What kind of a stupid comment is that? I wonder how hard you hit your head against the wall before you made that comment?

  • @HotRodder2100 I'm not impressive enough to have been beaten as a child, but Parents do all sorts of awful things to their kids when they want them to get good at something from a young age... you'd be surprised.

  • @Doomguin How dare you come on here and post slanderous comments like this. Do you understand the meaning of "libel"? Comments such as yours are not taken lightly, and I can assure you that you will be investigated.

  • @HotRodder2100 What would *I* be investigated about? I'm merely concerned for a child that has a talent, but may or may not be mistreated or exploited by her parents. It's a VERY common occurrence... I mean I hope I'm wrong, but you never know.

  • @Doomguin Where's your evidence? By posting a slanderous comment like that without evidence, you are putting yourself at risk for libel. As I said, statements such as yours are not taken lightly.

  • @HotRodder2100 There's nothing to investigate... No threats were made. (nor would I because I have nothing against the kid.) Libel for what? I made a speculation without evidence... If ANYONE were to be "investigated" it would be the adults in her life to make sure she's being treated properly. + What kind of parents take their kid out of school to perform, and have the kid to computer school? (which she does) That's unhealthy for her social development. google it.

  • @Doomguin Pretty obvious that your parents did quite a job on you.

  • No matter how many times I have seen these videos tears allways form in my eyes, out of pure JOY,"Jackie you are MAJIC".. : )

  • Music style will change every ten years, in the fifity big band was dead when Elvis sang rock and roll, sixty the British, seventy disco, eighty, oh well I quit listening it got to far out for me. The point I am trying to make is, Jackie is setting a new style for the young and old alike for the teens. My hope is that never dies.

  • is shi really singing?

  • She is in a league of her own...nobody else evens comes close to equaling this performance.

  • @Laundis I agree. There is not a singer on earth who comes close to Jackie's performance here.

  • I used to hate. And I mean HATE these kinds of songs. I never understood them, i couldnt figure them out, never saw the feeling in them, but when Jackie sings, HOLY MOTHER OF KATZ!!The way she sings as if she's been over 40 years in that field, her gestures, the beauty of this child the unbelievable effect of her voice. Wow I truly stop whatever I'm doing every single time just to listen to her, and See how she expresses the feeling through her face and voice! Pure, and Unbelievable..UNBELIEVABLE!

  • No Way can anybody top this kid, Im not a music person, I love quiet quiet quiet, I accidentally stumbled over this girl 6 weeks ago, maybe abit more, but Im hooked on her and her music, she sings with alot of passion, and calmness, I have played her singing over and over again, and still playing it now. I just want to hug her so bad, she is unbelievable.!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ceileenchambers77 Very nice words about Jackie, Like you I have about given up on music because I am old and hate the music they play today. Even on AGT I enjoyed the acts much more than singers. When they said a 10 year old singer was coming on I was geting up to go in the kitchen didn't want to heard it. Jackie started to sing I almost fell getting back to my set. I have been a true fan now, can't get enough of her music.

  • what joy!

  • I just hope I live long enough to see this little girl grow up to become one of the best female artist of all time.

  • haha it is beautifull, but I didn't know this girl before I watched so I couldn't stop myself from laughing at her (adult/opera) voice the first seconds

  • @gertverderrie Not sure what you find funny about it. Seems odd to me that you would be laughing at such a beautiful voice.

  • *shiver* i got goosebumps and tears came to my eyes. what a voice!!!

  • Insanity

  • she has the voice of a angel and shes is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good

  • that girl has the voice of an angel!

  • It's almost scary, that such a huge! voice, come from such a little Girl. Fantastic.

  • I never liked Opera music because I thought there was just too much VOICE in each song BUT then I listened to Paul Potts and I started to like his way of singing and then I heard

Jackie Evancho and I am completely blown away and a new convert to Jackie's sooo beautiful voice.

  • Truly an awesome performance. It even makes Sharon "love and adore" her.

  • Wow 0.0 when she sings, it's amazing. I'm sure she's an angel. Thumbs up who agrees with me...

  • nono aora enserio esta es una niña de 11 años, ke va a tener una voz asi, que me estas contando

    xD

  • esta tiene las hormonas muy alteradas ee... XDDD

  • @less552000 If you listen carefully she said "From her new album."

  • i love her voice !!!! she has a great voice ... iloveyou jackie

  • she sings amazing... but this is not a song that shound be sung with female voice.

  • @speedwaylove Millions of people would disagree with you.

  • @speedwaylove Which article of the Singing Laws are you quoting?

  • @speedwaylove Really? Then is there a non-female version of this song that is perhaps better than what Miss Evancho performed here? If so, would you please direct us to it?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm italian, She sings as she was italian!

  • Simply beautiful in every way.

  • must be 700th comment. She is so amazing

  • I just couldn't believe such a voice can come out from a child's mouth...AMAZING!

  • Jackie didn't have to finish AGT she become Pro. the first song she sang, The world went crazy over her. For all that loved her, was bless with three more songs. I truly did feel bless.

  • You dirtbags who call a child her age sexy should be ashamed of yourselves and get some counseling ! You make normal people sick to their stomacj!

  • @fjmor100 I was hacked... Im not exactly sure what was said from my account and I am unable to find the comments that were left. I apologize for what ever was said.

  • And then god gave a child a voice. and through that voice all of the angels of heaven sang..

  • 51 dislikes, find a cliff for them and invite the OVER

  • I agree, she is a genius. This is incredibley unusual.

  • FANTABULOSO or something!

  • I used to hate, and I mean HATE these kinds of songs. I never understood them, never saw the feeling in them, but when Jackie sings, OH MY SWEET LORD OF MUSIC!!! *_* The way she sings as if she's been over 40 years in that field, her gestures, the purity of a child, the unbelievable effect of her voice. Wow, I truly stop whatever I'm doing every single time just to listen to her, and WATCH how she expresses the feeling through not only her voice, but her whole entity! Unbelievable..UNBELIEVABLE!

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 I agree with you. I have never seen anything like it. Not even close. She is a world treasure.

  • @6MemoryOfForever9 WOW" 5Stars for you!!! You took the words out of my mouth, She is an ANGEL' I can't believe your words , they are almost the same words only in different form! and i never really hated these type of music ,just the loud, some singer voices at high register hurt my ears, Jackie's voice not once did that!! She sure is like a magnet, I can not explain what it is, but" I love it!! Yes I play her over&over I too have to rush over to certain parts, don't you just love it????

  • ha... yup...i just watched with same reaction and feeling i think...awe-inspiring...

  • The audiance jumped right out of their seats, for a standing ovation, they just heard an ANGEL sing..... : )

  • As soon as she finishes a song, she immediately turns back into a child. It is amazing.

  • see was out of wizrds of wavely place

  • @getfly4u Jackie appeared on one episode as a guest. Probably as a favor.

  • "En mi fantasia"Jackie tiene una voz increible pero hay un koreano que la descose.

  • I'm an old fart and am just glad that I'm able to watch this lovely girl grow into who she is.

  • If its not in english I cant understand it.

  • @AncientSecretz its in italian!

  • Some people are pathetic, makin fun of a little girl, y'all should be ashamed!! Just cuz you're not half as talented as an 11 year old don't mean ya have to be butt heads!

  • @SusanClenin i totally agree with you. most are probably adults who are the ones making fun. guess they can't pick on anyone their own size.

  • Well,... hummmm, ... The prettiest girl, singing the prettiest song, with the prettiest voice. ...

  • sound like a thrilling vibrator my heart.

  • @AncientSecretz she could but it's written in Italian, would you request the Star Spangled Banner to be sung in Spanish?.....wouldn't sound right

  • @JackieFan123 I agree with you!

  • I can't even explain how breath-taking this was to watch and listen to.

  • @tngldx I have no words about this. Just none. Yes I like everything with talent but this just trashes completely my scale with everything. I'm very happy that I didn't kill myself few years ago when I had very strong depression. I'm very very very very... happy 'cause these exraordinary kind of peole exist. Don't believe in God but at least I've seen an angel.

  • can you sing that in english please?

  • @AncientSecretz Sing in english? Are you kidding? To ruin this beautiful song? Perhaps you should switch to lady GaGa, she sings in nice and easily understandable english.

  • she can sing but, the music sucks!!

  • @rockync7

Music never "sucks", it's your ability to understand that "sucks", your loss pal.

  • wow how old is she?

  • @PumkinPieParadise She is 11 at the making of this vodeo. She will be 12 in April.

  • This is one of Jackie's performances in which everything works perfectly. I enjoy how she sings the first verse in a slightly reserved manner, and then we watch her whole demeanor suddenly change, her body relax and her face lighten up, as she confidently launches into the rest of the song, as if embracing those fantasies about which she sings, kicking the whole song up a notch. She is such a delight to watch.

  • I have not, to date, heard anybody sing this song so beautifully as this young lady.

  • Amazingly talented with a long career ahead of her.

  • Bella voce!

  • エヴァンコちゃん大好き\(^^)/

  • its incredible the voice from jackie; every day i pray to God that give me this beautifull voice

    im from colombia

  • AMAZIIIIIIIING

  • @Mary1077777 um gênio musical, um dom, um milagre, a perfeição, divino, sensacional, maravilhoso, fantástico, para tal idade supera todas as expectativas!!!!

  • Was like -_- then she sang and I was like OoO omg!!!!

  • すげぇ・・・

    あたしのほうがうまいと思うけど♡((タヒれ

  • where's pedo bear at?

  • how old is she she is amzing?

  • @love2commentlove She is 11 will be 12 Apr 9.

  • Such an extremely smooth and effortless performance... she is just amazing..

  • Watch the Tina Turner tribute video. She IS simply the best. Nothing more to say.

  • wow! How old is she?

  • @Jkevz92 She is 11.
