Are the bales just stacked on the pallets and are they just laid on the ground? Or is something connecting them to the earth? Get fairly good storms here with high winds sometimes. Thanks for all the work you do.
Hey Owen... Thanks for posting... All these materials are easy to come by... and it looks possible to build a rough version simply from having watched this clip. Simple and cheap.... Love it!!!
The pinning staples are just awesome. I seem to remember a version of stone coursing done that way (using flat metal bars, inlaid) in Egypt/South America. As I was watching, I considered if you could "dip" the bails in a polymer to "shell" them...or something naturally similar (resin), you could end up making...a gigantic brick. Even better if you could course them, pin them, then form them out (plywood), and "inject" them then and there. Great upload!
