Ok, i just switched carier this afternoon and discovered that tethering was back! After a little struggle with the settings than usb AND bluetooth connection problems and the mac being unable to spawn the right ip-adres, some hours went by and a few miracles happened and it worked! Now the connection is much quicker i can DL again, all is well. So the HL app is genius. But nothing can beat the old internet tethering
i got i on a gilbrokan phone and it works perfectly except for vu.ze / azu.reus which isn't DL'ing anymore. Has anyone else tried this or knows the solution? please let me know. Thanks in advance and thanks boriquapower for your answer
Also works in sleep mode. Make sure you've set up the ad hoc network and are at the purple screen before going to sleep mode. This also works if you've connected a USB cable (to charge while tethering).

What's the default settings under the proxies tab? (What is checked/unchecked)
I accidentally checked "SOCKS Proxy" on my actual router. I had no connection unless I unchecked it but I forgot what was checked instead of SOCKS.

There is another app with this.. search for iRip and download. then play the 5th fart sound and do the same process.

Instructions for connecting via USB
1. Connect USB cable from iPhone to computer
2. Wait for iTunes to backup/sync/etc.
3. Proceed with setting up the network
4. Create Ad Hoc network
5. Connect to it on iPhone
6. Make it static IP, type in 13.37.13.37 for IP address
7. Subnet gateway is 255.255.255.0
8. etc...
