The anime actually does give a better transition for Kei, but the RL movie explains it best on the episode of when the Festival begins. This Adaptation is very exaggerated and lightly planned out. I liked the professor, but Kei went from a 6' 180 pound muscle bound man to a 5'4" Size 4 girl. What were the producers thinking if they were thinking at all! I could have produced a better quality movie than this blindfolded.
