hey when i do my running/walking animations should i have all the layers of arms legs etc in a movie clip of the character? or just layers in a folder? it's hard to explain what i am trying to say so if you don't understand please tell me otherwise thanks.
amazing i do some shit animations for fun and have always struggled with showing movement in the whole character so thanks that really helped and simply amazing
Games' framerate can be anything all depending on what game you're playing, what hardware you have and what refresh rate your monitor support. And unlike animation, the timeline doesn't rely on framerate of a game. Standard for movies are 24 to 30 fps and for cartoons it's usually 15.

I really like your videos on NG and your tuts. on Youtube.
But one question, when you motion tween, do you use any ease (or whatever it's called)?
P.S. good luck recreating gun smoke! (saw your post in the forums, my NG name is flashmac).
Zokaru 4 years ago
if i do ease, i generally crank it to the max.. anything less than that is too subtle and not worth it in my opinion.. so its always at 100 or -100

If you have a crap computer, yes.

I'm amazed how you can trace the previous frame exactly.
I don't think I can trace so nicely even with a tablet.. mind revealing the technique?

Could you tell us your techniques for your tablet/mouse?
Just basically how to get it to look as you intended, as you draw.
Smoothness, size, etc..?
That would be great.
Keep up the tut's
