  • Also there is the D Link antenna adapter which is good for wireless desktops. Get the dual band N for better reception. My network is on 5.9 which is the highest. It never cuts out.

But when i try to open up the internet it always says "Internet Explorer Cannot display webpage."

  • In my opinion, this video does overcomplicate things massively. In this day and age there's only about 2 viable ways to make a desktop computer wireless. If you're happy opening up your computer, go down the PCI route. Otherwise use USB.

While I admit the other 2 (not 3, having wireless built in already doesn't count as a method!) ways can have their uses on occasion, they're really quite specialised - I'd be very surprised if anyone who actually needed them would need to watch this video.

  • Ur right, make a video dude.

  • @berry120 some DELL ,HP desktops come already with built in wireless

  • @demandfilms2 They may well do - if so, that computer already has a wireless interface! I'm not disputing it happens, I'm disputing the fact that "using built in wireless" is a method of making a desktop computer wireless.

  • can someone help me...... my family has a router for our laptops and family computer but im building one and my room is in the far end of the house...... what is the best method to work with and pci wifi work beeter for me and if which one would you recommend... help
