@Lightwader3338 Funny. Too bad it was Infiniti(Nissan). They invented it in the late 1990s, while desiging their new flagship. In 2000, their Pre-Production 2002 Infiniti Q45 was first to utilize a rear-facing CCD camera, called the RearView Monitor, for reversing. It was optional from April 2001 in an $8k package. No one else offered this until the 2004 Lexus RX330 in 2003. BMW first introduced ultrasonic parking assist in 1991, but didn't offer this until 2006 on the X5.
