@lartti83 Yes it's done in software using direct digital synthesis (DDS). I have wave tables in ROM which are played through the DAC. Changing the speed at which the samples are changed changes the pitch of the note.
@pinguinociccione It didnt have a backlight to start with, had to add it myself :)
Not really sure why it flashes, think it's probably noise on the power supply or something. Decoupling didn't seem to help and I cant be bothered to try any more fix it :P
what kind of oscillator you used? did you implement it with software?
