You have the materials to change the world--you've proven that with this video: Your thoughts, your words, your passion and a camera. It's all a ripple effect--the people who have commented on your video are just a fraction of the people you've touched and changed. The truth is you have already changed the world and you don't even know it. Thank you so much for this.
I said this on the "One Year Later" video and I'll say it again here: I loved your part. The first time I watched the film, I was surprised that your part was the ending, but then I realized how appropriate it was. Maybe you didn't realize it at the time, but what you said in your part basically reflects the situation of every single person in this film — in the world, actually. You could even say it sums up the entire human condition.
I thought I was alone on feeling the same way until I saw your video on life in a day and i actually broke down crying i was like no way. Someone else feels the same way as I do! This video did do something great!
You do exist now, you've touched my life... thank you Betsy, there's that feeling when you think you're alone in this world... but now, i just want to say hello... another normal person.
This is a beautiful submission that really fit the ending of the movie because that was all you thought about as the movie was coming to a close, that well that day wasn't memorable for me, and I didn't really make an impression. But this shows that no matter what you think, every day matters to someone and all people of the world are united by time.
Your words are amazing . I just watched A day in the life and then had to find you. You have just put so much hope in to people lives because you have just described what 7 Billion other people feel. If we think it or not our lives touch everyone and we may go a lifetime without realising this and I think this is the saddest part. Today you touched mine and I'm positive you will touch thousands more. Today you made a difference
I'm glad they used your video for the end of A Life In A Day. Your words mean a lot to me, they really do. Keep up the good work, soon you'll be on Blu-Ray and DVD and you'll get loads of views. God bless you x
I can understand why your video was selected. :o) It was exceptionally honest, which I loved. You were also the voice of everyone else - none of us want to stop existing either. <3
Hi. I finally found you! I started looking as soon as the movie ended but couldn't find you! I can't believe this video doesn't have 50 million views. I was disappointed my video didn't get used in the movie but by the time it was over, I loved it so much I didn't care. But I just had to tell you how emotional I got when I saw your video. You perfectly summed up what we are ALL thinking and feeling. I cant think of what else to say, but it truly is perfect. Thank you VERY much!!!
@GravityFair Heh, I went to the Life in a Day channel and looked for info there, and found the interview! Brilliant, eh!? I dunno if it was there before and I missed it or if it was just added recently but yay!! Seriously, it was the best ending for the movie. Basically, the frustration we all feel. Especially those of us whose footage DIDN'T get used!!! Also, I was really impressed with the movie. Can't wait to see it again and get it on BD. I bet once it comes out you'll get a lot more views!
@scott2eh Yeah, but the problem is no one knows what my user name is. They see the interview and know my full name, but my youtube name isn't mentioned. Guess they'll have to search like you did :P
@GravityFair Well, as long as they find the interview, you're set! I just searched your name on google and found one of your videos. And when I search it on Youtube I find the first snow video and this one. So that's something. Aaaand if we cleverly add some key words in the comments like GIRL AT END OF LIFE IN A DAY MOVIE google will find it even more :) I'm sure we can get you some traffic! Let's seeeeeeeeeeee....
What I loved about you being in Life in a Day was that you were honest and had no idea how wonderful your video was. I think we have all felt that way at some point; I know I did one time. It was heartfelt, it was real and it was the best ending to a great movie. I have a feeling that you won't have to worry about nobody knowing who you are. :)
Your 'Life in a Day' entry moved me in ways I can't explain. You expressed feelings that many are too afraid to say. You have made a lasting impression on me for some reason, and I'll remember your words for a long time.
"What I love the most? I love progression. In every sense. Be it the progression of man kind, of cultures coming toghether, of a goal you are wanting to achieve. Losing weight, quitting something that's addictive. Progressing in your job. Progressing through your homework. Progressing through your depression. Progressing through your love. And progressing toghether through family and friends, and everyone, that I want to someday reach."
Last night I saw the final "Life In A Day" collaboration movie streamed live from Sundance. Your honesty and words in the video have motivated me to find the extraordinary in what looks to be a "normal day" ahead. I won't forget. Thank you for sharing. Everything really does matter. Peace.
I just wanted to say that I thought your video was the perfect ending to that movie. Everything you said I felt like I could connect to. There may not be something great that happens every day, but every day can be great.
What your video did for the project was provide the perfect note at the end of a beautifully slow building orchestral composition. You perfectly brought it all together. Incredible achievement Betsy!
Very well done - perfect as is. Genuinely magnetic. In fact. yours is the BEST video submission I've seen so far by a LONG SHOT. As for your life and your current situation, don't you realize that you're already on the right track? "Amazing" people come and go, but REAL people like you last forever. Very well done. Thank you.
