  • Hey it's 2 Jesus's

  • Just did a lab on it a today, it was so cool!!!

  • it looked like the dude in the brown shirt was gonna fall

  • japanese would think of something like this

  • Chuck Norris can swim in this.

  • I too think it is pretty cool !

    Go Physics

  • @TobyTurner HI!!!!! wow how cool :) I love your video's :) just thought i'd tell you ;)

  • is that amir from college humor

  • listening to dubstep while watching this :O

  • 51 people died in this stuff

  • @TobyTurner lol what are you doing over here I didn't think famous people watch Youtube :)

  • That's so cool!

    @TobyTurner Hi Toby! :D

  • Man I really wanna do that

  • @tacoburger11 I think it's pretty cool. I'm retarded :(

  • @TobyTurner You're not alone, Toby :L This is pretty awesome stuff :D Knowing how it works doesn't change that

  • I want a whole ocean of this stuff.

  • Jesus walking on water has been proven.

  • lol. i had to watch this for my science grade at school.

  • I want see somebody stop running in the middle and start sinking

  • @nickm6800 dont they do that in the video?

  • OMFG ITS JESUS

  • thats awsome

  • I could sit on it! :D

  • Does anybody else think that the guy in the white shirt looks like Amir Blumenfeld?

  • we made oobleck in 5th grade it was fun cuz my teacher was like crazy so ya he made everything fun

  • @gabbylou2721 hey I thought they were chinese too!! :)

  • If you stop running, you're screwed.

  • This guy is having fun....

  • I bet the cornstarch companies made a lot of money that day.

  • Oobleck is pretty AWESOME

  • I don't think Jesus could walk on water... I think he just poured a shit ton of cornstarch into the ocean and then just ran over to their boat.

  • Why is everyone cheering? it's REALLY not that amazing..

  • @Tacoburger11 its mexico, everything is entertaining

  • @tbot1995 you fucking retard....theyr not mexicans you moron, theyr from spain

  • @Tacoburger11 unless your jesus it is that amazing, when was the last time you ran across a liquid?

  • @thedarklordx There's a difference between walking on water and walking on oobleck, seeing how oobleck is a lot denser than water, it's not surprising or amazing you can walk on it.

  • @Tacoburger11 not everyone is a science nerd, most people dont know that

  • @thedarklordx Psh, science nerd? This is grade 9 logic, it doesn't take a genius to understand it.

  • @Tacoburger11 FFS man, dont be one of those people who assumes that everyone knows everything you know, and that those who dont are retards

  • @thedarklordx I'm not saying everyone who doesn't know is a retard, but anyone who's older than 14 and doesn't know should probably go back to highschool..

  • @Tacoburger11 your not saying that everyone that doesnt know is retarded... your just saying that anyone who doesnt know doesnt have a high school education? thats the same god damn thing

  • @thedarklordx Wow, you're not the sharpest tool in the shed are you? Anyone who is under 14 OBVIOUSLY haven't finished highschool and wouldn't know because they're not passed the 9th grade, anybody who HAS passed the 9th grade yet DOESN'T know is fucking retarded and should go back to highschool. I can't believe I had to explain this to this idiot.

  • @Tacoburger11 im 14 and in 9th grade ive known oobleck for like 2 years and im smarter than your retarded ass, dont assume shit im just saying that not everyone knows everything you know, i know this from personal experience, but you know what be an egotistical douche i dont fucking care you can go fuck yourself, fuck me for trying to be fucking helpful faggot ass bitch

  • @thedarklordx LOL, you say you're smarter, yet I'm far passed highschool, and being mad is a sign of stupidity you tool. It's ironic how you're telling me not to assume things yet you're assuming not everyone knows this. The majority of people should already know this unless they're fucking twelve. I guess all I can say to you is stay in school because you obviously need an education.

  • @Tacoburger11 your a god damn idiot, schooling has little to nothing to do with intelligence, i know this kid who is a giant nerd and probably has 90's in every class, yet hes a complete fucking retard, and about as sheltered as fucking repunzel

  • @thedarklordx I'm not talking about grades you ignorant child, in school they teach you shit like economics, I'm not just talking about highschool, but college and university. Also, that kid may be smart, but can't express it because his parents are over protective and obviously unfit parents.

  • @Tacoburger11 granted that kids parents are overprotective and ultra controlling, i still say that school doesnt have much to do with intelligence, and i learned economics from my peers anyway, it wasnt taught in school, i just learned it from looking at things people buy and sell(E.G dont sell anything over $1 if you expect anyone to have money to buy it, no they arent going to pay you back, people you pay work for you and not the other way around, etc.) and im not ignorant asshole

  • @Tacoburger11 well if you want to get technical the density really has vary little to do with people being able to walk on it. :-P

  • @13RuffRyder ? Density has to do with everything we walk on or swim through. Since rock's density is higher than ours, we don't sink into it.

  • @Tacoburger11 you dont understand what im saying. im not talking about a rock, im talking about the corn starch and water and how density is not the reason you can walk on it.

  • @13RuffRyder Yes it is though, when cornstarch and water react, they form a chemical change. The properties is that with restraint, it is densse. But when treater softly, is watery, it's like quicksand really, sand mixed with water.

  • @Tacoburger11 I don't think a chemical reactions occurs.

  • @sgreen71778 Who said anything about chemical reactions? This isn't a chemical reaction.

  • so THAT's how jesus did it!

  • these people didnt make it rite! its too watery!

    haha

  • I've made oobleck and it was so fun!!!!!!!!

  • I wanna do that!!!

  • Oobleck is the best stuff EVER!!!

  • we made this today in science class it was so cool!

  • we made this today in science class it was so cool!

  • Comment removed

  • This looks like so much fun! I wanna do this!

    GO OoBLECK! :-P

  • @iluvjustindrewbiebzz bahaha. who has the time to comment on whether people have the time to do loserish things..

  • @iluvjustindrewbiebzz hahaha your so fail

  • u peeps r stuck up

    mostly: buffylovers3

  • i made this in school but with food coloring

  • Did this in my elementary years im in 12 grade now. I feel like to do it again :)

  • i made this in school. its so cool

  • haha somethings funny about chinice people talking

  • @gabbylou2721 wow. theyre not even chinese

  • @gabbylou2721 theyre not chinese ppl....theyre spanish ppl cuz im spanish and i understand them.....

  • @buffylovers3 oh im sorry if i offended u in any way i was not meaning to and thanx 4 tellin me

  • @gabbylou2721 Lol and I'm Chinese! :P

  • i made that at school

  • Oobleck is so fun to make :) We did it in school and I make it in my house too.

  • yeathey look like jake and amir... LOL

  • i wanna do this!!

  • andela andela

  • Color the oobleck blue, give the guy a beard, and there you have it , JESUS.

  • @FlutePlayingBabe LOL. I just had an image of Jesus stamping frantically to avoid sinking into the stuff, beard and robe flapping wildly... :-)

  • good

  • too bad if u didnt run fast enough you would sink like quicksand and it would kill you :P

  • That looks like fun! I made oobleck in chemistry. (I was the first to figure out the ingredients in the class, roughly 10 minutes of tests. Finally, I noticed the texture/silkiness of it.)

The guy in white will never have to starch his shirt or pants again!

  • Water + cornstarch + concrete mixer = oobleck.

oobleck is a non-newtonian material and scientists have yet to figure out all of what happens, but what supposedly happens is that when force is applied, it becomes a solid, when it has no force applied, it becomes a liquid. I learned all this from working at a oobleck pit for a carnival july 14th 2010. A SYNOD carnival. I learned all this from there. We were supposed to give out prizes for trying it out but nobody did. :P

  • crazy mexicans

  • Comment removed

  • they should of done canon balls into the water!

    that would of been AWESOME!

  • @ClaireboFairbo umm or corn starch

  • @donq321 i didn't say anything about corn Starch!

  • If I ever had a pool, it would be filled with non-newtonian fluid.

  • so this is how jesus did. maybe he was the greatest scientist thats all of his time

  • COOL

  • this is awesome i would so love to do this

  • we made oobleck today in science. we all had a blast with it!

  • @horseperson900 I Know Its Soo Cool Feels Like Clay When you rub ur hands throough it and when u pick it up it turns into a liquid

  • OMFG he walked on cornstarch and water -___-

  • I can stay on there for like 5 minutes just dont stand or run in 1 spot

  • We used oobleck in an experiment today. It's so entertaining!

  • My teacher taught about that today, that's a lot of cornstarch!

  • /watch?v=5GWhOLorDtw

  • THAT LOOKS AWESOME

  • cool

  • omg this is so grose fyi

  • i wish i was running on that stuff

  • Hehe, the guy in the oobleck is slowly getting it stuck ALL over him. And then when he's waving his arms near the end, the strings of it are hanging off... *shudder* Yeah, no way would I do that. Unless I had a shower cap on- that would be terribly difficult to get out of hair.

  • @GreyWolfHaiku water will dilute it easier than water soluble paint

  • i wuld see how long i could stay on it 4

  • my science teacher showed this to the class last year, it was beast

  • i love oobleck :) on my cousins grade 4 science fair i kept on touching this dudes oobleck

  • can you eat it?

  • @dinosaurkingfan yup, its just corn starch and water (kind of like thick custard)

  • todo el concepto del Hormiguero es irritante, malísima televisión

  • uhm.... wow this is uh.... strangee

  • Oobleck is liquid-like substance made from water and pure cornstarch. When you touch it, at first it's liquid-but then you find it hard to pull back out. It's almost like molasses, but it's really fun to play with!

  • y are they so scared to go in ???

  • They will sink if they stayed in too long.

  • Because if they go slowly they sink in. If they go fast it acts like a solid.

  • yeah

  • it's cornstarch and water

  • @raisingkane4 yea watch myth buster walking on water

  • @raisingkane4 cornstarch and water or a paste

  • What the hell is oobleck? Lol that;s a cool word. :]

  • oobleck is somthing from a dr. suees book

  • love playing with oobleck

  • the point is that they are doing it...and its fun...lillech...ur telling me u were emotionless and dull when u tryed this...u didnt have fun runnigng across a "liquad"....i did this in chemistry but it is an amazing thing..something that can "defy" science...

  • How does it defy science?

  • proof?

  • Its not water. Its water and cornstarch. Due to some sciencey stuff I don't quite understand it works that way. He isn't jesus or anything, its just fun with cool properties.

  • Who lied?

  • I think he doesn't mean literally defying science, but defying our typical understanding of science (e.g. step on liquid and you fall in)

  • It is science dumb ass......Liquad!

  • If it's so dumb, why did you do it?

  • cornstarch and water lulz anyone can do it and its more fun if u add food coloring

  • They think they're scientists

  • This is just cornstarch mixed with water creating a non-Newtanion fluid. in other words when pressure is added it is a solid and when the pressure is released it is a fluid.

  • these guys kinda look like jake and amir from collagehumor

  • you wouldn't want to do a belly flop on that

  • corn starch and gatorade 0_o

  • water

  • haha, on my first actual day of school, we , made this is in science and i have 2 lab partners, and one of them didn´t wanna touch it while me and Cole were having the time of our lives playing like litle kids with it!!! Then we made fun of Brett for being a wuss...and then got him to touch it and join the fun. haha our table was the one who took the longest cuz it was so fun!!! haha, anyhoo, i love it!!!

  • corn starch and water

  • Lmao, I remember my science teacher in 3rd grade told us that NASA had a space shuttle that went to a far off planet and brought back this weird shit that's called Oobleck and she bought some of it at a science convention. Then she gave it to us and let us poke it, but she didn't teach us anything, she just let us poke it. What a bad teacher.

  • LOL I MADE THAT AT SKOOL!!!!

  • so liberating!!

  • WTF is that shit? thats looks so dope i wanna try doing that looks fun

  • it's a non-newtonian liquid that when pressure is apply it turns hard, but when the pressure if light, it behaves like liquid

  • Obleck. It's just cornstarch and water.

  • cornstarch and water

  • Corn starch and water

  • if you run on it fast, then nothing will happen, but if you walk on it slowly ur leg is gonna get suck

  • I thought it looked watery. Maybe the mix has more cornstarch than water? Or does that not work?

  • they're making a big deal out of nothing.

  • Jesus is Japanese!

  • Spanish =/= Japanese

  • lol!

  • oh come on. that's funny stop being so sensitive

  • its so cool how you fall in if you stop running for a millisecond

  • I wish I knew what he was saying

  • Lol, I put constarch, water AND food coloring...just for fun :P

  • Hurray for non-newtonian liquad and idiots.

  • don't you mean "liquid"?

  • i watched this at school:)

  • whats oobleck do?

  • well if you let it be it is a goey liquid and its like quick sand but if you put preassure on it it gets hard

  • They did it on mythbuster once and Adam did get stuck when he stop running on it. They made big drum of it

  • how is oobleck made?

  • Corn starch and water :)

  • cornstarch and water
