  • Wish mine could do that, really nice 2000 XLT but it was cursed with RWD only. I grew up in the truck and I love it but it sucks that it's not a 4x4. Oh well, ExplorerForum is a great place though.

  • my buddy diid that in his explorer '99 2door 4.0 sohc stock tires no lift, he just gave it some gas its amazing where they will go when you got some ballz.

  • how tall is that lift?

  • Impressive

  • check it.

  • my cherokee will do that without lockers

  • @350cherokee62 the linear line you can draw between age and comment style has put you at 14....

  • @tricked04 first off. by saying linear line, u sound like a moron, all lines are linear, and second, i dont care how old my "comment style" seems, i was only stating a fact

  • @350cherokee62 it's all about the tires, gears and clearance. ALL 4X4's operate the same when locked in High or Low, if the front tires are grabbing then apparently everything is working, it just depends on those things. Most of you Jeep guys with your weak ass axles think they're so great. I've seen it go both ways.

  • When all else fails lay on the skinny pedal :D

  • @DezertRacer7103 that little skinny pedal can be your best friend or your worst enemy

  • @mccormickchainsaw :D definatly

  • sweet ride.... do work...

  • Don't see many Explorers built exept for the 1st gen. ones. What mods were done to the truck?

  • My Expo does just fine. It helps to not attempt a 25mph turn at 90mph. Just a thought, but when it says on the visor to be careful, or you might roll, and you still manage to roll it, you're a dumbass.

  • Is that a second generation Explorer?

  • yes it is, that looks to be an Eddie Bauer 98-01 not sure of the exact year

  • yeah, its really hard to tell w/o seeing the front, adn w.o the sidetrim stuff...but 4 it to go offroad that side crap needs to be removed so u get some ground clearence...actually idk if it helps with that but it prolly helps to remove it

  • all your vids suck....

  • sweet

  • nice dude... my sis wrecked my explorer. damn

  • how did that happen?

  • very nice x looks fun does it have a solid axle in the front and a SOA in the rear

  • ok then but what about the firestone tire incident on explorers stupid hillbilly

  • I just checked my 'new' comment to read that. Your an Idiot! But you did make my night when I see your number one interest is Xbox 360. Bet you have 4x4offroad and motogp racing if there are such things. You probably tell people you own a Hummer and a R1 except you leave out they are actually little bits of information on your memory card and not sitting in your garage.

  • Haha, I liked that, and like fender said, it was mainly firestone's fault not the Explorer, I have a first and 2nd gen, and they're awesome vehicles for on and off-roading. Don't knock it til ya try it.

  • @richarca your probably right! haha.

  • they found that to be mostly Firestones fault, not the SUV, however older Explorers are fairly uneasy at sharp turns, the new ones are very safe. Ive been in them and they do just fine, no problems.

  • My dad has an old one and he did a fast U turn at about 20 MPH and it only too 3 lanes. It was pretty sweet, I felt my weight move but the explorer stayed on all 4s! Don't expect the Ford Explorer to fail! It's the best car ever. It's like a tank.

  • lol thats awesome. yeah i had a 4Runner, now my dad has one, they are awesome SUVs. i love Explorers too, but 4Runners are by far my favorite. but both are great. Explorers have more power tho. but 4Runners are really light, reliable, and the limited's have differential lockers which is helpful when you are stuck

  • yah undertake742 i totally agree stupid honda and toyota and gmc sucks compare to ford!

  • @Buhundred what about them? well you stupid hillbilly it was firestones fault, it's been proven. ford had nothing to do with it how were they to know that the tires were no good. hell i've had firestons on my saturn for the last 9 years and nothings happened that was just a bad lot of tires that caused that, and the rollovers were from improper driver input and they're swerving when the tire blew. if they'd of handled it properly that wouldn't have happened at all. stupid hillbilly.

  • @Buhundred just because they have a tire incident dont mean its a bad truck ford doesnt even made the tires

  • And your bitch ass drive's what?

    Let me guess a mini-van?

No.. Hmm.. A Honda? Let me guess you crash your mom's car... OO you don't drive...
