You might have a bad battery... If it stays on while you're holding down the battery, then clean the battery prongs with denatured alcohol and a toothbrush.

first of all treat it with respect. the razr is not made to be pushed around like that, its made to a fashionable and sleek phone. If the phone does that it obviously meants that the battery is dead and by doing what your doing is just wreking it more. Plug the dam phone in and let it charge!

Learn how to spell, its not the battery at all, if it had anything to do with the battery, it would say "BATTERY LOW CANNOT PROGRAM" in bootloader mode. Try flashing it with a new ".17R" firmware.

I had the same problem with the same, even to the color, v3r. If you're still having the problem, I'd say I hope you have a warranty on your phone. When I got that, I went through all the flex files (using my computer) to see if something mystically disappeard, everything was there. I took it completely apart and let it dry, cleaned out the dust, all that, didn't help. Basically, I got a new phone... Hopefully though, you have your numbers saved to the SIM card.
