There's my car! i use to live right there at kent and rosemont and grew up in another house right up the street. i have three aunts and a brother on this block, all in different houses. My family is Filipino so it's not entirely a Latino neighborhood.
I grew up in that neighborhood in the 1970's. I got to see one of the last episodes of the Blue Night with George Kennedy being filmed one night. Their was a liquor Store on the corner of Kent and Alvarado where you turned but across the Street. My house is where the Auto Repair Center is now. It was near the Alley between Bellvue and Kent Street. Brings back memories. We lived in the area from 1970- 1987 or so. I left for the service in 1984.
