Anybody who takes the time to watch even halfway into the video can clearly see they are IN A PARKING LOT and, the last time I checked, those usually have plenty of pavement.
As for a plastic thumb drive surviving something like this, doubtful. A bobcat spinning donuts over anything made of plastic would grind it into oblivion.
and might i add i have an 8gb kingston flash drive and then theres ur 8 gb drive. the diference software and 280. so for the same money i could buy 15 kingston 8gb which btw have decent looks or buy one shiny metal one for 15 times the cost. i think anyone would have to be crazy to even consider a 8 gb flash drive for 300.
If you're storing sensitive data, you would have to be crazy or, more specifically, ignorant to not consider it. The main point of this drive is the security. The durability is secondary.
hate to hate but honestly tilt the bucket drop it down so one of the teeth line up to it and lift the bob cat up with the bucket then see if it works. if you look at the foot print of this vehicle and see how wide the tracks this isnt really that amazing. flash drives of any brand are usualy pretty bulet proof. i do enjoy the ruged style of this drive but i do also believe that a plastic cased drive would handle this no problem as ur in the snow not pavement or anythin that makesthistest real
That's one tough USB flash drive. I read that it is the most secure USB key available due to hardware encryption and that the password cannot be brute force attacked. Ironkey should be mandatory for anyone carrying sensitive information.
try it again only on asphalt.

Lame!! Try running over it directly on the pavement or concrete rather than snow.

Try running over a normal usb in the snow, don't think it would survive.

@tree6014
yes well this is part of the security concept as it's still solid meaning you can't physically tamper with the flash memory.

@colterczyruk Your comment is very old but I doubt you have gotten any smarter.
