first off all let me say amazing! Martin + Ashcroft = gift from God, but did anyone else realize that Ashcroft started the vocals two measure too early? if you listen to the original, the violin drops out when right when he starts singing, but it stops two measures after he starts here. And then when he goes to the chorus, the violin comes back two measures late. Its really not that noticable, but i thought it was funny..........thank God there isnt a key change, they wouldve been screwed haha

@hudecov Actually the first were the Staple Singers who the Stones ripped off 'The Last Time' from.

The Stones had nothing to do with Bittersweet Symphony at all. The sample the Verve used was from the Andrew Oldham Orchestra who did their on instrumental interpretation of 'The Last Time'

The Verve agreed a 50/50 split of royalties but when Bittersweet Symphony became a huge hit Allan Klien changed the goal posts and said they used too much and demanded 100%. Lyrics are 100% Verve.
