The PET Epic...I love it. Excellent video. Can't wait to see the next in the epic. When I was very little he was at the end of his political career and so I remember bits. Although I've read some bios on him and he was very interesting and yes you are right even if you didn't agree with him he was fascinating. : )

Oh, this is such fun getting to learn all about PET and I feel darn lucky for the freakin opportunity because youtube is messing with me. When I log on, not all of my peeps videos are showing up . I only saw this one today. Plus, even the ones that do show up are all out of time sequence in the line up. Add to this the fact that I got behind watching my vids and commenting cuz I felt crappy and the whole thing turns into a tangled mess. My hairs are falling out from the stress, but here I is.

He was PM when I was in high school and his initial caused quite of bit of teenaged sniggering at school (I went to a French High School).

I always found him to be sexy, mostly as a younger man, he had a way about him.

Yes, a special way about him. I think (for me) it was the confidence that he exuded. He just knew what he wanted and I bet he was frustrated that he couldn't always just do for us - for Canada - what he thought was right or what should be done.

That is true. I DID say "don't ask". You have to be from Quebec to really understand the thing about the name. I travelled for work, all through BC with a co-worker from Quebec for 6 weeks and when she finally understood that I grew up in Quebec and my mother was born in Montreal, we got along better. There is this 'thing' there. And Pierre was both.
