I like that they actually did a reverse parody of the Twilight Zone. The ugly Gremlin (Jay) is inside the plane while the terrified onlookers are outside on the wing.
@afkstudio Umm, you may have missed it, but Ebert's still alive and well, writing movie reviews, with a new tv show, and about to come out with his memoirs.
Maybe you meant Siskel. Either way, RIP Gene Siskel
@Tuckerscreator And if you look just behind Siskel's head and shoulders while he's at his desk, you can see dinosaur feet, most likely referencing "Carnosaur"
"Tim Allen gives that same likable performance we always love, once again proving Disney Pictures have the magic touch that may not win awards, but keep America smiling."
At least he and roger were trying. This episode is rather poignant now a days even after the death of gene siskel. The bit where roger is on the see saw alone is really hard to watch.
See and I've heard people say Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel are "snobs." They went on the Critic and made fun of themselves, which was great, in perhaps one of the greatest episodes of that show (I own the complete series on DVD). This was AWESOME.
@alleisonline Actually Jay Sherman was himself. Jon Lovitz played quite a few characters in the Simpsons though so one of them could have been the architect.
@TheToasterTV Directed, produced, animated, voiced, and scored by a number of the same people as early/good Simpsons. Matt Groening (creator of the Simpsons) was apparently a little pissy about it for a while about it being derivative, but the rest of us, we were too busy loving watching two incredibly good shows to care.
hahahahahhaah siskel and ebert were the best, maan... what a shame, siskel´s death and roger´s cancer... i still see some of their rviews, not only to remember good times, but to know if an old movie that i am going to see is good or not

Imagine the epic unseen supernatural battle between Satan and Gene upon his death...
.
"RAAWW! We meet again, Gene! Your mortal body was weak, and now your soul WILL be mine!"
,
"I fought off Roger at an all-you-can-eat buffet, you walking sunburn... *narrows eyes*... I can take YOU"
