  • 1:20 I lost a friend in the same way to Transformers 2.

  • What is the musical number at 3:00 a spoof of?

  • I like that they actually did a reverse parody of the Twilight Zone. The ugly Gremlin (Jay) is inside the plane while the terrified onlookers are outside on the wing.

  • it was before its time but i loved the critic

  • "you called me gene" "i'm sorry gene, it will never happen again.......gene"

  • Haha, this is so dumb. Apparently those two really loved each other.

  • 1:21 That guy hated, hated, HATED that movie!

  • "you're satan, aren't you?" LMAO

  • this show is awasome

  • Dammit Gene, I'm a Sherman not an Ebert!

  • That was the greatest love story I've ever seen.

  • Anyone else notice that this Ebert looks like Miachael Moore?

  • Were they talking about Toy Story?

  • your satan arent you?

  • You know you've seen too many movies when you understand, let alone love something like this.

  • nothing about Ebert liking Cop and a 1/2

  • @nomadcowatbk cop and a 1/2 was comedy cold.

  • @nomadcowatbk He DIDN'T like Cop and a 1/2.

  • @Tuckerscreator

Ebert liked Cop and 1/2, Siskel and most other critics hated it

  • @nomadcowatbk Oh, whups! I was thinking of the wrong movie, "Cop Out".

  • There's some...

    THING! on the WING!

  • @ 0:23 YEAH CARNOSAUR ROCKS!

  • 1:32 I didn't know Ben Lyons wore glasses in the '90s.

  • at least siskel isnt around to see mainline cinema today, if anything, that wouldve been the final nail in the coffin if the surgery didnt get him.

  • This show needs to be revived in some form.

  • Totally GAY! LOL!

  • @TheUnderNetwork Rather grim if you ask me. Ebert is very ugly

  • @TheUnderNetwork Get off this video little boy. Go back to Shane Dawson and Ray William Johnson. This is a grown up video .

  • grosos por siempre, We missed you so much!!!! siskel and ebert

  • Hey! Why was Roger wearing a Tux at 1:20 !?

  • siskel and ebert singing.....awwww (falls down like a fan boy)

  • god satan is hilarious

  • aahheemmm *cough* ........*deep breath* GAAAAAAAAAY!

  • This is sad in a way. Gene is sadly no longer with us due to cancer and Roger can't talk anymore without a computer due to cancer aswell.

  • @Bartman954 2.50 is the saddest part, if you consider who's alive and all.

  • Satan as a film critic.......interesting!!

  • Does "Satan" remind anybody of Richard Roeper?

  • @garfield2710 yeah and above siskels head at 1:38 thers a painting of a dinosaur...

or more likely, a framed poster of Carnosaur!!

  • so satan does succeeding getting rid of Siskel.

    WHAT A TWIST!

  • RIP Ebert.

  • @afkstudio Umm, you may have missed it, but Ebert's still alive and well, writing movie reviews, with a new tv show, and about to come out with his memoirs.

Maybe you meant Siskel. Either way, RIP Gene Siskel

  • It too bad Sarah Michelle Gellar killed Siskel

  • You know, maybe it's just me (and no offense to the man himself) but the guy Siskel is interviewing at 1:33 looks an awful lot like Richard Roeper...

  • Look on the wall of Ebert's office as the "new" critic becomes skeleton. It's a "Benji" poster.

  • @Tuckerscreator And if you look just behind Siskel's head and shoulders while he's at his desk, you can see dinosaur feet, most likely referencing "Carnosaur"

  • They also appeared once on Sesame Street.

  • I love how Gene socks Roger and thinks he can just calmly look away like that. He's seriously astonished when Ebert hits him back lol

  • Yo! Godot! I'm waiting here!

Took me forever to get that

  • 1:18... In a tux... 1:23... Not in a tux...

  • Is it just me, or does the musical number seem like a parody of "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail?

  • @quiktymevideo LOL Funny; that was exactly what crossed my mind. XD

  • I just realized that a benji poster is hanging up in Rogers office and a carnasaur poster is In siskles

  • Yo Godot! I'm waiting here....

  • Conditioned Stimulas: Arnold's exploding bosoms.

Conditioned Response: Ebert in a tux, and a blue bow tie.

  • Comment removed

  • "You're satan aren't you?" ROFL :D

  • The Siskel and Ebert fight resembles the big chicken and Peter fight in Family guy.....except this one is funnier. Family Guy ripped it off!

  • Does anyone know what sond they parody in 3:00 ?

  • @GameJudge I think it's "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail.

  • Ah, bromance...

  • lol 1:11 that was awesome

  • Does anyone know what song they parodied when they did that musical number?

  • man this just depressed me

  • 11 people couldn't figure out it was Satan.

  • Okay i really didn't see the Satan clip coming!

  • fuuuuuuuck, cant get this show on region 2(europe etc) dvd, love the movie parodies in this especially being a film geek :)

  • Yo! Godot!

  • It's sad. Gene's dead, Roger can't talk anymore and The Critic is no longer on Television.

  • RIP Gene...

  • 1:30 - :43 sounds good to 'me.'

  • I always wanted to see what these guys looked like!!

  • 11 people who love Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz

  • It makes me sad to see this episode. Gene was a great guy, and what a great loss his death left us.

  • "Tim Allen gives that same likable performance we always love, once again proving Disney Pictures have the magic touch that may not win awards, but keep America smiling."

    "You're Satan, aren't you?"

  • @Atvishees "you win another round, Siskel! But we shall meet again! RAAR!"

  • Please come back to syndication Jay Sherman please.

  • @TheReepicheep1

    1 of them died. That's why :P

  • Q-Ball in the Side pocket *PUNCH* Man Ebert Nailed him in the face.

  • the disney thing made me laugh so hard

  • Rest in Piece Siskel, Rest in Piece.

  • needs a gay porn scene at the end

  • LOL siskel cant sing

  • @redmonkey35L

At least he and roger were trying. This episode is rather poignant now a days even after the death of gene siskel. The bit where roger is on the see saw alone is really hard to watch.

  • @pixargod I have nothing but respect for S&E I just find funny that there awful singers im not that good myself

  • @pixargod IT'S, I really miss them, in argentina, I always watched their reviews, because the argentinian critics are jerks

  • @TheReepicheep1 siskel died of a tumer and ebert well..... he talks like a machine

    great show

  • Yo! Godot! I'm waiting here!

    XD

  • And they did meet again! Oh, wait that was mean. Too soon?

  • E P! E P! E P! Boobie!

  • Ebert: this is just a rip off of sleepless in seattle!

Siskel: which in itself was a rip off of An Affair to Remember!

Siskel & Ebert: which wasn't that good of a movie to start with!

  • I pressed thumbs up just as Siskel said, "The way he pressed thumbs up."

  • You're Satan, aren't you?

    That's certainly random.

  • 1:46 i guess satan was right

  • @JerseySlugga85 too soon!

  • Carnosaur was a really bad movie.

  • "Cue ball in the side pocket!"

  • @taitaisanchez Hasta Lavista Porky!!!

  • Lol, I love how they suggest they're gay with Bert and Ernie!

  • Comment removed

  • So sad that Gene is no longer with us, and Ebert has aged roughly - they were good guys who really loved movies.

  • Best marriage ever!!

  • I miss A LOT the 90s

  • That's their real voices right?

  • @Mrster yep

  • @Mrster Yup! Normally they turned down all offers, but this time they couldn't resist.

  • RIP Siskel.

  • @slharris1984 Satan was just holding up his end of the bargain.

    I kid, I kid.

  • the order of animation goes simpsons critic futurama family guy america guy

  • Dammit, who did the voices? They sound exactly like the real thing, did they actually agree to do them themselves?

  • @HalfLifeHalfDead it is them

  • @HalfLifeHalfDead It's both of them, that's why they sound like themselves!

  • @firmingitup Well, I just bow to their greatness. it takes a lot of guts to star in a parody of yourself.

  • @HalfLifeHalfDead It was cool, huh? I used to love this show.

  • @HalfLifeHalfDead It was cool, huh? I used to love this show.

  • See and I've heard people say Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel are "snobs." They went on the Critic and made fun of themselves, which was great, in perhaps one of the greatest episodes of that show (I own the complete series on DVD). This was AWESOME.

  • i miss siskel :( and ebert for that matter....i know he's still around, but i miss him on the balcony.

  • wasn't that half-bald guy in one of the Simpsons episodes?

  • @DerGh0st yes he was an architect :P

  • @alleisonline in the simpsons, right ?

  • @DerGh0st yeah :D but his building ( the opera) became a prison because noone in springfield liked it :P

  • @alleisonline now all makes sence :D

  • @alleisonline Actually Jay Sherman was himself. Jon Lovitz played quite a few characters in the Simpsons though so one of them could have been the architect.

  • @DerGh0st he was in 2.... on where he was featured in the insane asylum the "it stinks guy" and the film fest one

  • oh and btw, artieTSMITW favorited it and he is pretty famous, he is in the new american pie movie, and thats how i got here

  • i haven't seen this show before and now i want to!, looks great!, kinda reminds me of the old kind of simpsons episodes.

  • @TheToasterTV Directed, produced, animated, voiced, and scored by a number of the same people as early/good Simpsons. Matt Groening (creator of the Simpsons) was apparently a little pissy about it for a while about it being derivative, but the rest of us, we were too busy loving watching two incredibly good shows to care.

  • every time they ripped my fav movies thats what i fel tlike doing, but either way i miss them on the show

  • they did their own voices???man they are so awesome

  • cue ball in the side pocket

  • this is so funny!... XD

  • I love the homage to Vertigo at 2:00-2:20.

  • Yo! Godot! I'm waitin' here!

  • Love this fucking show and these are some of the best scenes in one thanks!!!!

  • "They'll be back"

Satirizing Arnold before his career started to look worn out, these guys were ahead of the times.

  • lol look at my fake bossums

  • I'll never do it again.....GENE

  • 1:46 is fucking scary

  • not only they are great critics, they are also great actors

  • hahahahhaha i love that "Carnosaur" poster in Eberts office

  • @Avzzor oh i mean Siskel?

  • HASTA LA VISTA PORKY!!

  • "You're Satan, aren't you?"

  • I like how Satan resembles Roeper >_>

  • hahahahahhaah siskel and ebert were the best, maan... what a shame, siskel´s death and roger´s cancer... i still see some of their rviews, not only to remember good times, but to know if an old movie that i am going to see is good or not

  • "A bucketful of his brother?" Was Tom Cruise completely insane even back then?

  • WTF

  • I am frau daubtfire

  • 1:06 to 1:18 LMAO!!!!!

  • BEASTLY. The 90's was the peak of television.

  • Yo! Godot! I'm Waitin' Here!

  • The thumbs up and thumbs down on the side of the building was heartwarming.

  • *sigh* I miss these clever and hilarious old-school cartoons.

  • Nice!

  • This made me laugh, and then made me incredibly sad that such a talented team is no longer with us on television.

  • @CR3469 roger ebert is gonna do the show again on pbs

    google it

  • lol Roeper is the guy interviewing with Siskel

  • the devil's burp sounds like Wakko's burp.

  • Wait, why did Ebert change from casual to a tux?! Look at 1:00 and then 1:19

  • Whoa, good catch!

  • For having one of the greatest shows with the greatest critics. It's just mindblowing

  • damn this show is awesome
