This episode shocked the hell out of me after with J.R.E. and the show put up the "In Memory Of" at the end. Then my slow local channel puts a ticker at the bottom after the "in memory" saying the real actor died that day the same day of his character. Unbelievably shocking for me. Only that could happen on Passions

@jazsamsil Timmy was in love with a girl named Charity who was the town prophet always having premonitions. She had in harmony an evil double and I think after Timmy became a real boy (like Pinocchio) he was injured bad by Charity's zombie double. Charity was in the hospital. I forgot how and why but clearly it had to do with her heart because since Timmy loved her so much, he ending up donating his heart to save her life.
even to this day i still cry when i watch back episodes of passions before he died an when i watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the one with Jim Carrey)

You know what's really eerie about all of this. Prior to the whole Josh's death coinciding with his character's death on the show. A few months back the character Tabitha had forbade Timmy from ever becoming a real boy over a doll because as a real boy with blood running through his veins he could actually die as opposed to being a "lifeless"/bloodless doll.
I don't know about anyone else, but my local NBC channel at the moment he flat-lined, brought up the ticker and announced that JRE died in real life on that day. I sat for minutes in complete shock with my mouth opened wide and my eyes bulging trying to digest it.
The sad thing about that too was Timmy the character was going to come back but JRE ended up dying. :(
When I tried to tell my friend that Josh Ryan Evans died she thought I confused him with Timmy and was laughing at me. She was always telling me I was too into the soaps and I had to convince her

Yeah - Josh was a great actor. Even though he had dwarfism, he saw his size as an asset. And he had talent. Plus he taught us all to "Dream big"! R.I.P., Josh. You will be missed.
You think that Josh Ryan Evans/Timmy's death was sad, check out the video of Tabitha and Timmy sharing Christmas together in 2001, his very last CHristmas. It was the time when he started telling Tabitha he wanted to become a real boy. She feared that it would be to his dismay... Oddly enough she was right. That episode Passions Christmas 2001 made me cry at the end. IT foreshadowed his future.

I know it was very sad. youTube took that vidoe of Christmas 2001, but there was alot of foreshadowing of Timmy and for JOsh Ryan Evans's future. At least he got to do what most people will never have the chance to do.
@ZeroZacker its true he wasnt very popular but he did get pretty far. For someone like him had a pretty nice shot he was on tv and was IS adored by many people. R.I.P Josh Ryan Evans
I always thought it was totally bizarre how Josh Ryan Evans died around the same time that his character (TIimmy) was killed off - talk about timing.

The air date of this episode was July 6 1999. So when the episode played on August 5th 2002, Joshua dies soon after.
