I'm 13 and I love it too, but I don't think the age really matters...I mean is true llots of music now are just shit but what matters is that we love this music that will always be listen because is the GREATEST
So do I. My kid is 24 and I think he will never know what real music is. I think the new generation could never possibly know such a raw and real world of music era that their parents lived. It was the best time to grow up. I cherish it and all the great musicians. Some are not alive now, but they live on in their music. Dylan will be immortal in the world of music, just like the others, Neil Young and it's a long list. I can remember Jimi Hendrix smashing his guitar on stage after performance.
@hackedagain2 That's not exactly true, I'm 15 and I love this kind of music, Dylan, Hendrix, Van Morrison, Elton, etc. I can't stand the trash that's played on the radio these days.
I keep noticing how a lot of people from my generation prefer this music, and we all think we're so alone, but really, we're all together. One day I bet we'll be the ones holding up signs protesting wars, throwing different kinds of music festivals, and trying to get back to simplicity. On that note, please keep enjoying what Bob and others have left us to cherish.
Jesus is the only hope of salvation from the guilt of sin. He is God come in the flesh. And he came to wash away our sins with his blood that he shed on the cross. Salvation is a free gift, but you must repent and ask Jesus to save you from your sins and come into your heart. God is good. It is written, "The just shall live by his faith."
@Miliana257 yeah I am 23 and thankfully my dad was a huge music fan and when I told him blink 182 was the best band ive heard in 6th grade hes been sure to set me straight since then...I never saw Dylan live though but I wish I did, he was only one man and as famous as the beatles at one time... the only person I can compare bob to is elvis.....but I prefer bob...
I'm also 23 and I wish our Generation would have a musical revolution and get the junk off the radio that plays now days. Only a handful of people in this world really know what true music is.
@dbcrdnfanatic i'm not trying to argue, but i have to disagree. there are many people who know true music...but it's the fact that not very many people can play and write true music anymore...they depend too much upon technological short-cuts...just my opinion. i play guitar and i love good music and have many friends who are just as young as me. but i just don't have the songwriter part in my. i love recreating and covering good music...but i've tried and i know i could never write with dylan
@dbcrdnfanatic well alot know what good music is problem is only a handful OUR AGE no what good music is :/ ... i asked people at work the other day if they knew who sang "like a rolling stone" and they didnt even no the song!.. sad
@RockandRoll51188 I love Bob and Elvis and they were very different but they are the two greatest of all time for sure. Bob writes better than the Beatles ever did and Elvis was a better performer and singer than Paul or John.
On a side note: you can still see Bob play, you should see him because he is in a new prime.
I have a black and white poster of dylan playin guitar n wearin the harmonica necklace but no one near my age knows him..its weird ppl under thirty just seem clueless a crazy harmonica and guitar playing brilliant song writing bad singer ever existed...
@RockandRoll51188 I couldn't agree more English is my 3 rd language but I was kind of obliged to learn it properly and the main reason was to be able to understand Bob...and I do because he's been with me for the past 20 years and I had the greatest chance to see him live in London May 2002 it was an overdose of happiness mixed with intellectual feeling and charismatic existence...Bob is by far the most executive living user of the English language...I just adore his music..!!
Dylan concert in the 1990s, and I thought I was young. If you ever get a chance to go to a concert I think you should. Dunno how many years he has left so act fast. LOL
its really too bad that this music is so forgotten and unknown, it changed the world once and could again, this is music is in its purest form. Mr Dylan you are an artist
Of the 1,023,234,342 songs in the world, this is the one I listen to 9 out of 10 times in the last year. Now I'm going back to sleep in that palace of pain that Dylan can articulate so well.
Stop fucking saying how old you are no one gives a shit. Bob dylan is a great artist too listen too. Your not special because your fucking young
