It's just a cheap Chinese ARF - cost around NZ$200 or so (US$120). Designed for .60-.90 engines. There seem to be two basic designs for these Chinese ARF P51s. This is the one with the fill-span ailerons, others have inset ailerons at the tip.
OH he is so lucky not to have destroyed the plane. I have been watching some of the Jets hit the deck and turn in to $10,000 fireballs and I have just bought a Skymaster F-15, now a little worried about crashing that.
No damage -- amazing eh? Mind you we've had weeks of rain so the ground is pretty soft. Sure slowed the engine down for a bit though - I think I need a finer-pitched prop for dirt.
That's an RC P-51, you moron, not a P-51.

How did it not obliterate your prop?

@rcflight13 No, it was a Master Airscrew K-series and they're pretty tough.

@xjet Might need to get me one of those, I go through props faster then I go through hot-glue and duct-tape.
