I adore you for caring so much Anni but realistically, everywhere a major venue like that pops up (Hemisfair 1968 wiped out a major portion of San Antonio)is where someone used to live and though it seems inhumane, the displaced folks usually always end up with much better living accomodations. Remember, it's all about the mighty dollar (or Yuan in this case) and the Olympics is certain to bring everyone in Beijing a mighty hefty return on their investment. Just sayin ;) xoxoxoxoxoxox

Yeah, I've nO doubt CHiNa will, but it iS China, and I do have doubts that the displaced people there will benefit~ Ahh, only time will tell!

I hear ya Kiddo and I'm certain you're equally annoyed at similar situations going on throughout our great nation as well. Sadly for us all, "giving a damn" just doesn't account for much anymore :( xox
