  • All that stuff is still back there. I can see part of the city scene sticking out from the curtain. There isn't even a video where the old scenery was it starts after and that part was empty since 1994. I wish they just had both.

  • This ride was the best cruiseing and relaxing ride.

  • I love epcot!!!!!

  • i cant wait im going in september!

  • the video seems to... fake

  • Wait wait wait!!!

    They changed the ride!!!?

No mare sparkly stars and pretty music!!?

I loved that ride so much for what it was.... It's the one ride I can remember from the first time I went when I was 4.

    I'm going to cry.....

  • aww its ok be strong no bigs it was my fav too

  • I went to the ride, they still have stars after while and I heard music with the voices, and a camera takes a picture of you and cuts your head out and puts it on the character.

  • they completely destroyed the ending of this classic ride with some silly cartoon

  • It's silly, but it's so funny. In this video, the two cartoons shown are 100% cartoon, but on the actual ride, they slap on the picture of your face onto the cartoon. It's hilarious if you do a funny face.

  • lol yep it is but it is nothing like the old ending, they could of at least made a better cartoon and a wall of things to look at instead of a blank black wall, the old spaceship earth is much better

  • lol... I like "your future"

  • Im going to epcot with the entire 5th grade on march 25th 2009

  • cool you r lucky i went to the adventure dome in vegas

  • Did I just hear Judi Denche's voice on the computer screen?

  • oooh interactive-i love participating

  • im super mad they changed the ride... it was amazing and it had a good message and now this ride comes in... i guess ill have to judge it further next time i go...

  • does anybody know if its in the one in orlando

  • Yes. There is only one Spaceship Earth ride in the world. It's not cloned to other resorts.

  • crazy cool, cant wait 2 go next time, thnx 4 da response dude =)

  • They also have this "Vision of Your Future" in the Inoventions at Disneyland, Anaheim.

  • it takes your picture then puts it on a body...weres yours?

  • the end looks like the jetsons.

  • man I wish walt disney was alive. he could save disneyland and disneyworld with his creativity. its so said he got cancer when disneyalnd opened. now they are doing random stuff that doesnt make sense. walt do you hear us we need you!

  • Walt Disney died on Dec 15, 1966. Disneyland opened in 1955. So Disneyland was opened about 11 years before he died. He didn't live to see Walt Disney World. However, he was very much involved in the planning phase of what he initially called Project X, then the Florida Project and finally EPCOT. Walt Disney World opened in 1971.

  • How come your pictures of your heads aren't on the cartoon characters?

I was there yesterday and they took our pics as the ride stared and plced our heads on the toon characters

  • This was an earlier test version of the ride, also if a good picture isn't grabbed of a rider, the other heads are substituted (at least that is what we have noticed).

  • I beg to differ. I've been on the old Spaceship earth Many, many times and I just went on the new one yesterday and I have to say it is amazing! It is a lot more historically accurate than the previous ride, and its especially good that they talk about the renaissance and Gutenberg. The 'future' part of the ride where they take a picture of your face and let you build your own future is also very cool and innovative.

  • what is this. Who built this a druggie

  • i thought it was pretty innovative

  • That was awesome! I rode it last Thursday and I thought the updated version was amazing compared to the other version. I love how it takes your pic on the ride and you see it at the end

  • Well from the looks of it it looks like Disney screwed up again. The ride did need an update but the ending looks stupid. They put in a corney cartoon and took out the awesome and beautiful scenery at the end. So fare for what I am seeing Disney Is losing there creativity and art and focusing more on the technology. You really need both elements to make a great ride.

  • thats cool...but different..its werid..but im finally going back after 8 yrs of waiting.

  • Is the rest of the ride the same? What did they take out? This sucks!

  • I don't like the new one... I miss the old one so much... this is cool, but it's not the same...

  • Well it looks pretty good, the ending. Im excited to find out what my future is when i go in april, but im worried it wont be as AMAZING and fascinating as the old ride.

  • Well this looks pretty interesting adn I cant wait to See It in March but.... something tells me it won't be the same loveable attaraction.

  • Was on this yesterday...pretty boring

  • Is that Dame Judi Dench??

  • YES!

  • When I rode this new one, we were stuck falling backwards. Also, on Christmas day, I think they changed it a bit. The photo is taken at the beginning of the ride and is then placed as the face for this cartoon. I fell asleep waiting for the ride to get fixed.

  • Please tell me they still have the outer space scene at the top of the geosphere......and the Renaissance scene. :)

  • Yes on the outerspace and kinda yes on the renaissance, it was a bit revived... if you have itunes, there is a full video of the new trip in the video podcasts - you might have to search a bit, but the whole ride is there. I found it the other day. Enjoy. BTW, there is also a video podcast of the Horizons show before it became the Space plaza.

  • Thank you for letting me know. I never would've seen it otherwise.

  • oooh interactive-i love participating- anyone remember Horizons? cute cartoon!

  • You bet, even the sweet citrus smell as they talked about harvesting oranges in the future.

  • lil trivia for you, go to Disney Hollywood Studios (formally MGM) and go to the backlot express food area, as you come thru the doors go left to the condiment bar then look right, you can see one of the old orange harvesters way up top but its stripped of all paint and whatnot, just the frame of it

  • Check out my other videos - I have a video with Horizons memorbilia I shot last weekend at EPCOT. They had a special room and part of it was dedicated to Horizons.
