  • You are absolutely talented. I would love to go to one of your concerts when you become a professional! I played the violin for 3 years, but made the mistake of quiting. If i was half as good as you, i probably would've stuck with it. Good luck, i'm a huge fan already! :)

  • @SmileXBroken -- hey thanks so much!!!

  • It's awesome that you hit every note correctly, but you played about three times too fast.

  • love it =) ur as good as vanessa mae

  • Love it........I havent played this since i was 16 just before i stopped playing.....I'm 42 now and just started again. I will be happy if I can play this half as well as you.......i would however take it a smidge slower as i dont have asbestos fingers....lol

  • @MrOutrage69 -- thanks so much! good to hear your playing again. and i think a little slower would be perfect (it isn't really meant to be played so fast, i think...when we started making these sound sample videos, we were asked to try to keep the video to about a minute so i thought they meant i had to try and play the whole thing in a minute. so i rushed. it didn't occur to me as a 14 year old to just play a part of it at regular speed. :)

  • 136 ppl are haters and tone death. to those 136 haters, can you play this to that high of a quality? geez....

  • @VanessaMaeFan18 -- thanks for the sentiment, but for musicians, our 'raison d'être' is pleasing the ear of our audience. we don't require them to be able to play or perform...just to listen and love. if they listen and don't love what we play, we haven't fully succeeded. i think the viewers who express dislike were commenting on the speed that i played this without undersanding that this early entry into this musical catalog was challenged with getting the sample down to 1 minute. Oh well :)

  • @eboyinc no problem! and i remember this video and this was one of the first videos i saw by you. i love the speed. i think it was great. even though this is raw, i still loved it. it was real. By the way, LOVE your rendition of the Nocturne. Lol, im not a violinist, i just have extensive knowledge about classical violin and classical music as a whole. cheers!

    -Bruce.

  • That page must have had a LOT of ink on it!!! Beautiful playing! How long did take you learn that?

  • beautiful

  • @captainshadowdreamer -- thanks :)

  • @captainshadowdreamer your welcome

  • I cant stpp watching this so beutiful cant wait till I can play this amazing ur like another bach

  • @mehmehjiaooxp -- well, i did this sound sample like 5 years ago so i don't quite remember what my practice schedule was, but i practice alot in general. back then, at least an hour or two a day...every day. but i never just worked on one piece...that would have included scales, etudes, other pieces. and its bach, so i'm really still working it...i don't know whether its just me, but i feel like i'm always working on the sonatas and partitas :)

  • Amazing

  • @hal0NERDkiller -- hey thanks!

  • Amazing!!!!!!

  • @exequielconx -- hey thanks!

  • @eboyinc How old are you?

  • @exequielconx -- i was 13 when i did this video.

  • @eboyinc wow! i'm 23 years old, i play the violin but i'm learning. Tomorrow i'll upload a video so you can see me playing :)

where you live? I'm from Argentina

  • this is great! trying to teach myself this piece, so the close-up is very useful.

  • @Montmarcey -- hi, glad it helps...but keep in mind that i'm just a student and there are many fingerings that you could try (likely better than mine)...but i hope you post it when you've gotten it down :)

  • Wow...

  • this piece is one of my favorites and i aim to master it in the future. i fell in love with the violin at 12 but it took me 9 years to get started. 14 months later, i got my ABRSM Grade 2(just few days ago). im looking forward to the day i can play this :)

  • @sharonsweets -- hi, congrats on Grade 2...thats great!!!

  • didn't your arm hurt after that???

  • @gottahavemymusic959 -- nah, i'm used to it :)

  • I wish that I knew how to play violin..I wanted to when I was younger but my parents got me a clarinet instead :<

  • @Kitty98706 -- whoa, i know alot of great clarinetists...its a beautiful instrument. never too late to pick up the violin though :)

  • @Kitty98706 same here! but the clarinet can sound beautiful as well! :D

  • @Kitty98706 -- its never too late to learn the violin. and some of my best friends play clarinet :)

  • I can play Concerto in A minor, Op.3, No.6, 3rd Mvt. by Vivaldi.

How far is this to the song you are playing? ): I struggle playing fast. Can i get a series of songs to practice my way up to this one? I don't know what song to practice from here because the songs i see are either too advanced or too easy :3

Thank you for your time and consideration~

  • @xRifuke -- well, not too far, but there are some considerations like bowing techniques, shifting, etc that you'll have to advance from the a minor to do the bach sonatas and partitas. don't rush it. do you have a teacher who is guiding you? the key to playing the violin for me was learning that playing is more an accumulation of technique...one at a time. its skill building. slowly you acquire the skills needed to advance from one level to another. its nothing complicated really :)

  • O.o Holly God........

  • @serpensorthia -- hey thanks :)

  • 0.0 ...totally tops what i can do

  • @SlowPoke425 -- this was one of the first "sound samples" i did for this collection of fine instruments. our goal was to record about 1 minute on each violin or viola in the collection and i guess i thought that meant i had to play the entire partita in one minute. so i played it as fast as i could :)

  • @eboyinc haha nice X)

  • That is so beautifuly played FAST!!!!!!

  • @nov18thali -- thanks...glad you liked it :)

  • I want to learn this so bad. You did a great job!!!!

  • @ILikeTacosToo -- its a totally fun partita to learn and play...post it when you finish it :)

  • increible, pero eres una maravilla tocando el violín, hermoso

  • @isaax141 -- !muchas gracias!

  • WOW!! my professor is giving me this... Whew... I hope to be as good as you..

  • @chibinejiten -- bach is so much fun...when you've got it down, you should post it. let us know if you do :)

  • @eboyinc oh it really is funny (i am amused of myself coz i could be clueless 'bout bach), and frustrating.

    When i pull it off...

I'd love to post it if i had a video cam ^^..

  • BRAVO! HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE.

  • @rigabriela -- well, my brother who does about half of the video sound samples here on eboyinc practices every day...i try to do the same (emphasis on "try")...but we both practice alot :)

  • BRAVO! HOW OFTEN DO YOU PRACTICE.

  • @douskara --- thanks so much... i hope that one day i'll be good enough to sit in a professional orchestra, but right now i'm mostly concerned with getting my homework done :)

  • DANG im SOO JEALOUS !

  • @LILTONGANDUDE4 -- jealousy not allowed...just more practice :)

  • This was really tasteful playing. Wish you could give me advice on how you keep your intonation so clean-although I'm willing to bet that you would tell me just to keep practicing like crazy! Thanks so much, some really inspiring playing you've done here!! Consider me a fan!

  • @unionfiddler -- hey thanks...glad to have you checking out the videos. well, yes, practice is key....practicing slowly helps you focus on intonation :)

  • Wow! Me again haha, you played so fast and so well. Amazing, I love that song.

  • you have an unbelievable technique. many famous violinists cant even play this at that speed. im really speechless!!

  • @hotbebimauz -- thanks so much! i was rushing it a bit because i was trying to do the entire sound sample in one minute (which was our original concept)...probably should be played a bit slower :)

  • <3 a little fast. BUT YOU HAVE TALENT! <3

  • @0deadly0ice0drops0 -- thanks! when my brother and i were asked to help catalog this large violin collection they suggested a "one minute" video of each instrument. we took the "one minute" rule to heart and I really tried to compress the vids to 60 seconds by just playing really fast. i never worked, so now we just play an excerpt. but glad you liked this.

  • Rushed... No way! You Played that piece with A lot of energy and it sounded AWESOME!!!

    High Five! ^__^

    Lovely Violin btw

  • @ILikeToShred -- thanks so much c:

  • @johnnyblack1974 -- thanks!!! i was rushing it a bit. this was one of our early videos. my brother and i were asked to help catalog this large violin collection by doing a "one minute" video sound sample of each instrument. when we started, we took the "one minute" rule to heart and I really tried to compress the vids to 60 seconds by just playing really fast. i never worked, so now we just play an excerpt. but glad you liked this.

I have your videos on my mobile phone, and almost every day I check your videos that my girlfriend started to be jealous because i told her "She seems to be beautiful and with a great talent, and is one of my inspirations to continue playing violin". Good luck!!!

  • @Metrac2407 -- wow, thanks so much. i'm really glad you like the videos. you can see me and my brother doing some recitals, rehearsals, recording...at our other youtube channel, Musicasa2ndlanguage c:

  • hey, great job! some advice that i would give to make it even better than it already is, is some more dynamic contrast, it all just seems like its being rushed through but other than that, great job!
